  • "... a testimony to the creative staying power of this extraordinary country-rock outfit...The Things We Left Behind is a lesson in how to deliver a first-rate country-rock album in this day and age... this one is a definite keeper!" - Power Pop
  • "Cuddy and Keelor both seem to be taking stock, reflecting on the passage of time and the state of the heart with penetrating but poetic insight... An absolutely stellar outing, this is unquestionably the strongest statement yet from a band that continues to set new standards with each release. Highly recommended!" - BlogCritics

Have to be honest we left the concert early on January 31st at Mile One in St. John's, it was the first time I seen Blue Rodeo live and I am honestly a huge fan, I haven't heard much in the way of their newest cd, I think the concert was terrible. I know to each their own, My husband has seen them several times and was shocked Way to much New stuff, There should have been a mixture of both to keep the crowd happy, as we were leaving they spoke on stage about how they appreciated the fact that we sat threw songs we didn't know, and the good stuff was comng. Hundreds were leaving as we were around 10:30. I am so dissapointed what a waste of money, should have stayed home.

@C.Lawlor - If you want to see nostalgia acts, go to Vegas. You should be happy a Canadian treasure is still making new music 25+ years on. If there were more people like you, who get up and leave concerts becuase there is too much "new stuff", there would be no reason for the band to go on. At one point "Try", "What am I doing here" and "Diamond Mine" were all new songs. they are now classics. In 5 years the new stuff you walked out on will be the same music you want to hear. Stop living in the past. It's a nice place to visit, but you can't stay there. Enjoy the show, the music and the fact you are getting to see a Canadian National treasure before they hang it up for good. Nothing lasts forever, not even BR. Instead of bitching you should have lightened up and enjoyed yourself. BR doesn't need "fans" like you anyway.....

@C.Lawler again: Plus, you call yourself a "huge fan" but you haven't herad their new album?! WTF?! It's been out for over 2 months in Canada! If you were such a huge fan, you would have picked up the new album on day one. Maybe then you would have enjoyed the music they were playing. Face it. You're a buzz-kill.
