Having a band like this that comes from Canada makes me proud to be Canadian. Jim, Greg, and the band could sing the phone book and make it sound great. Congrats boys on the Junos! You guys are the sh&t!

Watching the Junos made me proud to be Canadian with so many talented homegrown artists; much more interesting than the glitzy Grammys! And of course the highlight for me was to see Blue Rodeo still recognized as the Canadian Group of the Year as they have been to me for at least 20 years.  It was also great to see Feist acknowledge the support of Blue Rodeo - I've always heard about their role in promoting new Canadian talent.

Congratulations to a band that personifies brilliant and heartfelt content over "flavour of the month" fad.  Like so many of your fans, I am very grateful that you guys have provided the background soundtrack for my family's life.  It is so satisfying to see Blue Rodeo rewarded at the Junos for your brilliant songwriting and wonderful performances.  See you in Sunderland!  

My sister Tracey and I used to see you guys whenever possible in T.O. (at least once a year)!  You are a common bond that we have.  She introduced me to you guys when she lived in Kingston as a teenager (the late 1980's).  This year was the first time we did not catch your concert at Massey Hall as I have moved to Calgary.  I tried to get tickets here in Calgary but was unable to obtain a ticket due to availabilty so she didn't go to your concert at M.H. as she said it just wouldn't be the same not being able to share.  The JUNOS gave us a chance to share thanks to MA BELL!  GREG.  JIM.  AND THE REST OF THE BAND.  You have seen me through a lot in my life and I have to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!  HEARTFELT CONGRADULATIONS TO YOU ALL.  I can not think of a more deserving Canadian band.  PS>>>My son Bradley painted you a picture many many years ago of the band on stage doing what you guys do best and presented it to you JIM during a backstage meeting.  Keep it up guys both as B.R. and your solo endevours.  You guys are amazing......You are all that is Canadian.

it's about time Canada's greatest living band got some well deserved juno love! But even without the politics  and "old boys club" that are the Juno's, we don't need them to tell us what many, many people have know for a long time. BLUE RODEO are unquestionably National treasures. As Canadian as Tim Hortons, Algonguin Park, Labatts blue, back bacon and the rockie mountains. way to go guys, well deserved!! HURRAH!!!!

You guys dominated the Junos as did Feist.  Blue Rodeo deserved the awards for all the years of hard of work.  It has been finally recognized and it paid off.
 Does anyone know about BR winning the group of the year as being fixed; according to John Moore of Mix `96 in Montreal?  John said Hedley was to be the winner.  I personally think that BR is a group that has stuck together through thick and thin and should definitely win this category.

It was a Blue Rodeo weekend here in Calgary. How fantastic! Congratulations on winning 3 more Junos, they really were well deserved. I love all your music and CD's but Small Miracles is some of your best work in a long time. We love it and listen to it constantly in our home, therefore we were not surprised when you won your 3 new Junos. I loved seeing you win Group of the Year as well and against a bunch of 20 year olds. You guys have still got it! Please come back to Calgary and sing & entertain for us again soon! Looking forward to it already!

And really enjoyed seeing Jim & Greg at the Juno Cup on Friday night. What a fun & entertaining evening and for a great cause. Loved the "Sing Off" with Lanny McDonald too. Jim you sound fantastic even in a noisy busy hockey arena - was a treat to hear "Try" like that. Loved it all!

CONGRATULATIONS! Have been a huge fan since '84 and could not have been more proud if I had won them myself!!! Took my 18yr daughter to your Victoria B.C. concert this past January and since she has literally grown up on your music it was great to watch her get right into it. You guys put on the best performance of ANYONE out there!! I have always considered myself a very proud Canadian and your band, to me, is what Canada is all about. Your music is wonderful, you are all the most awesome Canadian men who love the music you sing, and your talent is immense. Please keep it up!!!

Congratulations, boys, for going 3-for-3 in Calgary.  You are truly the best and hardest working band in Canada.  Your music kept us sane and together when we first met and lived in different provinces in 1988.  (Songs like "English Bay" have so much meaning for us!)  We try to catch you whenever you come to Vancouver - your Stanley Park show in Aug and Orpheum concert in Jan were brilliant.  How do you guys keep getting better and better?!  Come back to the west coast soon!
