Answers

  1. Can I meet the band/go backstage? Back to Top

Concerts are always crazy, unpredictable events and because of that, we can not arrange for anyone to meet the band or go backstage. The logistics are just too tricky and we don't want people to be disappointed when they show up backstage to meet the band and everyone's decided to head back to the hotel because they're tired.

  2. Will Blue Rodeo play my wife's birthday/our wedding/my annual cottage party? Back to Top

While Blue Rodeo is always thrilled to hear that their fans want to include them in their special days, the band does not usually perform at small, personal events.

  3. I'm an aspiring songwriter. How do I send my material to Blue Rodeo? Back to Top

For practical and legal reasons, the band does not directly deal with unrecorded material. If you are an aspiring musician, please have your management contact Blue Rodeo's management.

  4. Are there any plans for Blue Rodeo to play in [name of your town here] soon? Back to Top

BlueRodeo.com is only able to comment on officially announced shows. All of these shows are posted here on the Events page. If your town is not listed on this page, then there are no plans for the band to perform there in the near future.

  5. Where can I get info on Jim, Greg and Bob's solo projects? Back to Top

You can read more about the band members over on the About the Band page. You can also access Jim's website at JimCuddy.com, Greg's at GregKeelor.com and Bob's at BobEgan.com.

  6. Can I order tickets for someone else as a gift? Back to Top

Of course, you can! Just remember to put the receiver's name in the "Ship To" field when you're filling out the details while ordering. This is important as the venue Will Call will only release tickets to the person whose name the tickets are reserved in.

  7. What if I want some else to pick up tickets on the night of the show? Back to Top

Even if you're going to the show yourself, but would like someone else to pick up the tickets for you, include their name in the "Ship To" field.

  8. I'm unable to put in the desired quantity of tickets when ordering. What's wrong? Back to Top

If you're trying to order a certain number of tickets and are given a message that says that the Store is out of stock and that the items have been removed from your cart, it means that either there are no tickets or fewer tickets remaining in the inventory than what you desire. However, if someone else is also trying to order tickets at the same time but decides not to proceed with their order, their tickets may get released back into the inventory. So you may want to attempt ordering a few times before quitting.

  9. How do I know if my order was placed successfully? Back to Top

After you place your order successfully, you will receive a confirmation email from us. This email will contain your order details, which will be a confirmation that your order was placed. If you don't receive this order confirmation email within 24 hours, first check your junk mail in case it got filtered there. If not there, send an email to our support staff. Remember to add store@bluerodeo.com to your safe address list so our email doesn't go into your junk folder.

  10. My confirmation email says "N/A" under shipping address and the Tickets page said that my tickets will be mailed out. How will my tickets get to me? Back to Top

In order to not charge you shipping on your ticket purchase, the shipping address field appears as "N/A." All tickets that are to be mailed out will be sent to the purchaser's billing address. If you would like your tickets sent somewhere other than your billing address, please contact store@bluerodeo.com.

  11. What is a Will Call & what will I need to pick up my tickets from the Will Call? Back to Top

A "Will Call" Box Office means that you can pick up your tickets at the event - mostly on the day of the show, and at some venues a few days prior to the show date. Box Office policies and hours are different for every venue. Some may not be open until an hour prior to event time, while others may be open during regular business hours every day. Similarly, some buildings advise patrons to arrive very early to pick up tickets to avoid long line ups.

To pick up your Will Call tickets, you'll need your credit card and a government-issued photo ID such as a Driver's License to pick up your tickets from the Will Call. The identification is needed to ensure that no one but you picks up your tickets.

  12. Can I refund my tickets? Back to Top

We're sorry, we do not provide refunds through our online Store.

You may re-sell your tickets, but you'll still need to be present to pick up those tickets since they will be under your name at the Will Call. Read the next point for more details.

  13. Can I give or re-sell my tickets to someone else? Back to Top

Tickets bought on BlueRodeo.com are generally non-transferable. Should it happen that you can't go and have to give or sell your tickets to someone:

    a) Write to us about it first. If we haven't yet assigned tickets and sent the information to the venue, we may be able to change the names on the tickets. But we cannot guarantee that. If the names cannot be transferred:

    b) You can give the person you transfer your tickets to - a copy of your order confirmation, our email correspondence where we can authorize the transfer, and a letter to the Will Call indicating that you allow the person to pick up tickets on your behalf. Sending your credit card with that person would enhance the chances of the Will Call releasing tickets to that person. We still cannot guarantee that all of this will work, and cannot take any responsibility for this.

    c) The only other option is to go with the person to the Will Call on the night of the show and pick up the tickets for them.

  14. What are my seat numbers? Back to Top

You will be assigned seats about three-four weeks after the ticket sales close. Once the assignments are done, we will try our best to send you that information by email in advance of the show.

  15. Am I going to get good seats? Back to Top

For all the shows we sell tickets to through our website, we reserve up to 10 per cent of the best seats at the venue. These seats are all close to the stage, but how close will you be seated depends on how soon you order tickets. Seats are assigned in the sequence in which your order is received during the pre-sale. So the sooner you order, the closer you will be to the stage and center.

  16. If I bought a block of tickets, will all the seats be together? Back to Top

Yes, we will make every effort that all tickets bought together are seated together. If we're unable to accommodate a group of 6 or more in the same row, we'll split it into two rows such that the seats are directly in front of the other, and you're still together.

  17. Can I get information about my tickets from Ticketmaster or the venue? Back to Top

Ticketmaster or the venue Box Office or any other ticket outlet is in no way related to our pre-sales, and will not know anything about the tickets that are being sold on BlueRodeo.com. So please do not contact them. Contact us if you have a question that is not already answered here.
