    Yes [Y] Schwa'&Duffey's~THANK-YOU

I definitely think that the "Fantastic Four" deserve a Great big.........

                                           Thank-you!!!!  Thank You

All the time & work that must be involved to pull off the Meet & Greet. The four of you did an unbelievably awesome job. Everything went so smooth, at least from where I was sitting, that in itself is remarkable feat when an event of this size is going on. The beautiul table souveniers that Paul carved symbolizing Greg & Jim's cd's & the Snowman DVD were so well done. All the organizing for the door prizes~wow! It was so well done & soooooooooo much fun. The Olde English Parlour was an excellent choice on your part. A beautiul setting with excellent food & drinks. The entertainment was out of this world. Peter & Patty, you did a great job making sure everyone got their chance in the spotlight, thanks. There is a lot of talent on the BR boards for sure. If this event hadn't have happened all this talent  probably would have gone unnoticed & now we are so lucky to have gotten to share & experience it, all due to the four of you.

                                    Adele & Paul,

             Patty & Peter

          You are Amazing!!

            Thank-you

         for Everything!!!      Youre The Best

Another big THANK~YOU to all the people that lent their time & skills to helping the Schwa's & the Duffey's. Everything was Fantastic!!

    Re: Schwa'&Duffey's~THANK-YOU

I wasn't there this year but I know how hard they & others have worked in the past and that is certainly worthy of a thank you.  Your hard work brings so much joy to so many people.  Thanks.

Greg Keelor met Jim Cuddy and then I met you people. Serendipity is a marvellous thing.

    Re: Schwa'&Duffey's~THANK-YOU

I was there and it was great!  I enjoyed the friendliness of all the other board members sitting around the room, talking freely about past concerts and the places they are from!

4 of us were out front waiting for a taxi and a nice young couple offered us a ride to the show!  We just thought that that was so wonderful and such a giving friendly justure!

I think that experience just tiptifies (is that a word?) the "Blue Rodeo Fans" that were there last night - so much giving and sharing and helping!

I have one of the carvings and each couple in my group (8 of us) won a door prize!  All my friends were so impresses and had such a wonderful time!

thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you  Big Smile

Thank you indeed. As a Stratford Virgin I am without words. The M&G (and getting a few chances to join the Crazies band) was so much fun it should have been illegal. From the bottom of my cold, sarcastic NYC heart THANK YOU!!!!

The weekend certainly would not be the wonderful experience that it is without the M&G. A big, big thank-you! to Adele, Paul, Peter, Patty AND all of the others that put so much into making this happen!

    Re: Schwa'&Duffey's~THANK-YOU

What a wonderful event the M&G was and thank you to Paul, Adele, Peter & Patty for putting it all together!!  Having name tags made up in advance was a great idea, thanks Sonja for spearheading that effort!!

Having music in one section of the OEP and meals in the restaurant itself was a great idea and worked very well!!

I'd say the organizers have come up with a winning formula.  I was speaking to Adele and she said there could be some improvements but honestly, I don't see how!  Everything was just perfect.

To Wonks.. I think this is Warren and his beautiful wife, sorry, I don't remember your name. Thank you for singing "Homeward Bound" at the after-party!!  I love that song!!!

To all the folks who helped out and the musicians who practiced so hard.. thank you very much!!!  Going to Stratford just wouldn't be the same without the M&G and your efforts to make it memorable.

    Looking forward to 2008!!!

    Re: Schwa'&Duffey's~THANK-YOU

(Finally, I am on board again, after no less than 5 attempts. I was alone then on the board. Now there are currently 10 guests and 11 boardies on and all is well with my postings. Let's keep this up. I need more people to sign on so that I can try to use the emoticons again.)

Thank you Dizzy, Patty, Bruce (and wife) and Ed for your dedication before and during the weekend. Thanks to Schwa-girl and Paul too. What a dream team!

Everyone's passion for Bluerodeo, music and a crazy weekend together was unforgetable. Some travelled down the street while others from places like Calgary, NYC and Florida! It wouldn't have been the same without you.

I tried to meet everyone and missed a few from the board including Sparkster. The name tags certainly helped .....thank you Sonja.

I love the OEP venue, location, accomodations, food, atmosphere and personnel.

Gringo and the Lipsyls (TryMontreal, Gobo & moi) Unplugged sang a few on the drive home, in honor of everyone at Stratford:

    Re: Schwa's&Duffey's~THANK-YOU

I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make yet another BR Crazies Stratford Weekend a huge success! Of course, a very special thank-you goes out to Adèle, Paul, Peter and Patty. I'm still in awe at the effort you put into this special weekend.

It was so nice this year because I felt as though I knew each of you a little better. There's nothing like the anticipation you feel when you know you're about to spend some quality time with friends you cherish. I have to admit that I'm feeling a bit sad right now because the people I feel the closest to live so far away. I think we're just going to have to start a "Crazies Commune" or something! Wink

It was also wonderful meeting so many new people. I was amazed at the amount of talent this year! To think that Blue Rodeo's music can bring a bunch of strangers together and make them feel like they've known each other forever is simply amazing! Geez, by the end of the weekend, I was making plans with RunnerKelly and her hubby for a summer camp-out/jam party with a bunch of other Crazies. Ha! Ha! I'm laughing now, but I bet you any money this plan will come to fruition!

I also wanted to thank all the musicians for making Dan feel so welcome. He had an amazing time and I'm so happy that he enjoyed himself! He took a real liking to Bruce the drummer's wife and Lesley-Ann's mom! They both regaled him with stories of some of his favorite performers like Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash.  I just thought it was so funny that he was jabbering away about the weekend all the way home! It was certainly a change from last year, that's for sure!!

Well, that's about it for now... I'm sure I'll have more to say as the thoughts come to me.

I don't believe for a minute that you have a cold  heart, Ray!  Sarcastic...yes...That's a prerequisite isn't it, to be a New Yorker?

I am so  that I wasn't at Stratford!

I carry with me the memory of a field I once knew, of a night so full of stars that I was left humbled by it's endless beauty. I know that whatever the cost, life is worth living. So bring it on...I can take it.

I would like to add a very heart felt thank you as well. Peter, Patty, Adele and Paul, you guys really are the best, your efforts are so appreciated and enjoyed by so many...thank you.

I would also like to thank everyone who shared their talent to the pre and post show shows. You all are amazing and really kept the party going. I really enjoyed all the music so much!!

I would also like to thank everyone that was there, everyone I met was so genuinely warm and friendly, I really had such a great time and would gladly travel to the frozen north anytime to hang out with all of you again.

I had a wonderful time at the M&G again this year. A huge thank you to Adele and Paul, Peter and Patty, and all the talented people who sang and played such great music!  I truly appreciate all your efforts.
