BR fan from Hull, Quebec - Hi all! :0)

    Hello Everyone!

Just thought I'd introduce myself. :)

My name is Eniko. I've been a fan since Outskirts. :D

Blue Rodeo was actually my first concert; I saw them at le Vieux clocher de Magog when I was in grade six. I have very vivid memories of that show. It was AMAZING!!! Since it was in a bar and we (my sister, neighbour and I) were so obviously underage, my mom had to come in with us. Le Vieux clocher was an old church converted (no pun inteded) to a bar. They put us up in the balcony next to the sound/light guys. We had a GREAT view and after the show we asked one of the guys if they could get us autographs. They soon returned with Outskirts postcards signed by everyone. Much to the delight of a sixth grader! :p lol I soon after joined the fan club and was a member for some years 'till we moved to the States and my supply of babysitting money disappeared. Believe it or not, I am still wearing my outskirts sweatshirt (not-so-snow-white any more but hey! it's like 20 years old!) It still looks good, though. Anyone who doesn't believe me can see for themselves at the Feb. 14th. concert in Ottawa!

     Wow! I thought I'd be brief... :p

     Peace, Everyone!

Welcome to the board eniko76.   I enjoyed your story about seeing the band when you were a kid.  Have fun at the Ottawa show & be sure to come back and tell us all about it.  Enjoy the board.

Greg Keelor met Jim Cuddy and then I met you people. Serendipity is a marvellous thing.

Hello from across the river! That is so cool that you have an Outskirts-era shirt and still wear it to this day! I used to have a shirt from Lost Together, but as I was six years old (not in grade six) when I got it, it's probably a bit too small for me now. Stick out tongue

I'll be at the Ottawa show as well, so perhaps we shall run into each other then. For now, welcome to the board, and have fun here!

:D I'm very proud of my sweatshirt. Considering its age, I am not even ashamed of the barely-visible stain it acquired Iknownotwhenorwhere. I also had another favourite item of clothing until recently but have now discoverd it has gone missing. :( It was a Northern Pikes Kiss Me You Fool t-shirt complete with lipstick stain on the collar. I've moved cross-ocean twice in less than two years recently and fear I may have left it behind this time...

Anywhoo... I still have the memories. ;)

My sister and I will be on the Floor Level in February. I definitely hope we run or bump into each other at the show - it won't hurt as I'm pretty soft so no worries. :p

I think I just lucked out that they I got an adult size sweatshirt. Some of my early concert tees are size S so I don't fit them any more. But, to tell the truth, even my recent concert shirts are looking pretty worn. All three of my babies had the annoying habbit of hooking their little fists on my neckline and hanging on. My two-year-old is still at it. My newest t-shirts are Linkin Park ones, but they look right near awful. You're right, though, it's how I feel in them that counts - and I feel the need to REPRESENT! Cool

Thanks, I sure will! I'm actually trying to decide what to wear beneath the sweat-shirt now for the eventuality that it will come off. I expect I'll get pretty hot dancing or, if I'm lucky, being packed up against the front barriers like a sardine.Stick out tongue

I was actually thinking of taking my Outskirts LP to be signed but I don't want it damaged during the show. And I kinda want my hands free for dancing and clapping and stuff. I don't know if I would get my shirt signed because then I would probably stop wearing it - I'd never dare wash it again! Of course, it would look great framed next to my Northern Pikes top that Bryan Potvin signed with fabric paint...) But I doubt I'll get a chance to get anything signed this time. My sister and I did hang around outside after the show on the Diamond Mine tour and finally got it to meet the guys, but I have a feeling my sis will want to high-tail it home when it's over this time 'cause she is studying to be a nurse and tries never to oversleep or miss class for any reason. Although... I could just give her cab fare and keep the car... *eyes glaze over at the possibilities* Devil
