I still can't use the NSLV function at home or at the office. I know some people have gotten it to work but I can't even get to the NSLV or Today's Active Topics menues.

Just to clarify, we have not fixed the problem yet, we are just now better aware of what is causing the problem. The issue is cookie related and we are still working on finding out why it affects some and not others, if you could go to http://discussions.bluerodeo.com/eve/cookies and select the option to view the cookies and then cut and paste them here it would continue to help us narrow down the exact cause. I honestly realise how long this has taken and how tired all of you are of this but we are so close now, if you could just bear with us for a bit longer...

Just so you are aware the issue appears to be with the "Last Login" cookie (the one that starts with ll_). It appears that this is not updating for a handful of users. Again...I'll keep you posted as the development team works to resolve the issue.

I never noticed if there was ever any follow-up or even if it's actually a real issue or not, but regarding the avatars showing up full-size as pages load, I've noticed it's only the custom avatars that do this on my connection.

The stock avatars provided by the board don't seem to load that way.

You probably know this but I just thought I'd point it out.

Could that be why I have to login everytime I come onto the discussion board? I never had to before but thought maybe something was changed on my computer to make me have to do it everytime.

Thats also most likely a cookie issue, (not the last login cookie though). That cookie would be the the first one and the parameter specifically that covers being logged in would be "&pl=Y" and yours indicates permanent login = Yes...but since you are having trouble it doesn't appear thats the case. Have you checked the remember me option when you log in? Have you gone to the cookies page I posted earlier to clear them? Then come back and login and select the remember me option and let me know if you still have to log in all the time.
