Polka dots are OK, I guess, if you're playing the spoons. Paisley is prettier, though.

DTPBM wear mostly prints or solid colour clothing?

paisley was the thing for about a month in the 80's! Mostly solids colours...not many prints...especially this time of year when its tanks and t's and shorts....I can't find any decent shorts...everything is either hoochie mama or polyester.

DTPBM hate spending money on clothes...I do...I try to get the cheapest stuff possible.

Re: Does the person below me...

I have a leather belt but I think that's pretty much it.

DTPBM have subscriptions to any magazines?

(And I'm still clueless... been told what?)

P.S. I hate spending money on clothes. Everything I wear comes from the St. Vincent de Paul, except my tour tees. ;) I'm glad there are people who are willing to spend upwards of sixty bucks on a pair of pants, though, 'cause they donate 'em to the St. V de P for me to buy at a fraction of the cost! ;)

Been told where to go... Does that help, Eniko? [SEG]

I used to subscribe to Prevention & Stringing (a beading mag) but I let them lapse this year.

And paisley is a beautiful, classic pattern! Consider yourself told, Jenn! Stick out tongue

DTPBM have plans for this long weekend?

nope, i didn't even know it was a long weekend...why is it?

Bry is going to a model show in Orlando...but not me but I'll live.

WTPBM leave their house when they know they look really stupid?

    I am about to!

Re: Does the person below me...

No, I wouldn't, but I'm sure others might tell me that I have in the past, especially when I'm wearing paisley! Embarrassed

It's Victoria Day Weekend, Jen.....May 2-4!!! How quickly they forget!

DTPBM wish it would warm up & stop raining? *SIGH*

Re: Does the person below me...

Well hell....I thought it was going to be the 17th and 18th this weekend. I need a calendar.

Paisley is pretty, not stoopid.....but wearing a pair of shorts way too big and tying them on with a belt and having them bulging all over the place that when you pull your shirt over them you look like you have some weird protruding growth in your abdomen....well that's a wee bit stoopid, damn I need to find some shorts for real!!!

I wish it would stop raining....the rain gods had their chance last month....may is for flowers....darn it!

DTPBM ever hit weird buttons on their computer and weird things pop up but you'd never be able to figure out how you did that again.

Re: Does the person below me...

It is, Jenn, but we still often refer to it as the May 2-4 weekend (I think that is actually Queen V's birthdate?, plus it has that box of beer/party conotation)

I try to avoid hitting those weird buttons.

DTPBM think I should have soup or salad for lunch? (& don't say both!)

Re: Does the person below me...

I'd go with soup, 'cause I myself am craving comfort food right now. :(

DTPBM like canned soups or soups from a mix? I always find them too salty.

Re: Does the person below me...

    I went with soup..it's a rainy day.

I really enjoy the soups in the boxes, especially the Campbell's Gardennay varieties. Today I'm having the Butternut Squash, but I doctor it up with brown sugar, nutmeg, hot sauce & lime juice so it tasts just like this soup I had at Bentley's in Stratford, YUMMY!

DTPBM take convenience foods & add to them to improve them?

Homemade ones...the rich, gooey, sweet kind..I have a recipe left me by my dearly-departed ex-MIL. Yum!

DTPBM have a lot of recipe books they never use?
