Most interesting thread folks. Depending on my mood, I'm sometimes Jim and other times Greg. I've never checked out the threads on this discussion board dedicated to each yet. I agree it takes some time to really get into some of Greg's songs but I think it's because he writes what he feels and this guy feels! Jim does too. Oh no, there I go again. See what I mean? I do like to mix of styles. As someone said earlier, something for everyone. W&T

I can totally relate about rediscovering songs, be they BR songs in genereal or Greg's in particular. I wasn't quite as young as you when I started liking BR, but I was still pretty young. I liked Blue Rodeo's sound and lyrics, but I had to grow to truly appreciate them. I think when I was young I took them at face value whereas now I think about them a bit more and go beyond the literal meaning of the lyrics. I laugh now at what I thought I understood of some of them. I thought I was so mature! lol I told my mom this a while ago and she said, "Of course, you were so into the singer that you would have liked anything that came from his mouth." Maybe she was right, but I'd like to think that I was a little deeper than that, even way back then!

I'm a big fan for Jim Cuddy.. Like hes my favourite singer of all time. But still I have to agree with you. I loved the tone in his voice and it suites his songs so well. Josh Dwyer

LyneAmour:Plus, a tidbit, on the pictures of that CD, you see the whole band on the first one, then, where Greg was, a cat is now at his place. I do LOVE CATS.
Which CD is it? I never noticed that. .

Oh wow, how cool is this? A Keelor section! I love his voice, he uses it as his instrument too, in a way.

So no presale tix for me... but it's ok, I saw the boys last month! My
first time ever, and I thought Greg Keelor was positively charming and talented and he showed great wit! (Jokingly yelled SHUT UP to the tiedyed people on the side of the hill LOL)
It would be nice to see Cheryl Crow and Jim Cuddy... but it's birthday season around my house now LOL

So would that make fans of Mr. Egan "Bobbleheads"? *pictures fans nodding erratically to pedal steel solos* Man, I'm wacky today. I blame being up before noon on a Sunday.
