(Maybe your little avatar could go play in the Sandbox...just watch out for the cats.)

I'd go play there but, every time I do, the cats keep trying to bury me!

    HUH?

    Peter, have your swans left?

I think ours leave because the pond they are in freezes solid for the winter.  Not sure if they go south, but they definitely aren't there in the winter.  I guess they'd need open water.  If it doesn't freeze (which I'm assuming your river doesn't) then they might stay around.

Your right about the Zebra Muscles Ann, they have cleaned up the Great Lakes water visibility tremendously.  The difference is HUGE.  But, I'd much rather have the murky water back and get rid of those pesky muscles any day.  What they are doing to the Great Lakes eco system as a whole is devestaing.
