Hey Jam....I think in this case - it was better that Zoran had the "encounter" with Greg (and I can just live vicariously through him!).....and considering it was an "out of context" meeting....I probably would have said or done something totally stupid ....like staring at his grocery cart to see what was there!Surprise

......mind you...the line he used when he approached Greg with was quite "out there"....

Although I know the BR guys are great people, I'd still be afraid to approach them.  I once approached a star (aka Ferris Buller) when he was working on a movie in TO with Marlon Brando.  My brother was a great fan of Ferris Buller, so after gathering up all the courage I had, I approached him and asked him for an autograph for my brother....he glared at me and stated, 'can't you see I'm busy'  then proceeded to put a quarter in the video game infront of him and began playing....maybe he got out of the wrong side of the bed at 4pm, I don't know, but all was not lost because I got to meet Marlon Brando the following day.  My friend and I were having coffee, he stopped at our table and said 'ladies, how are you this evening'.  Shows you the difference between old hollywood and new hollywood, but still my encounter with the FB guy has left a bad taste in my mouth for any further approaches.....

I thought I should share what happened to my Gramma’s friend, and Greg!

I’m not sure where it was, but the best bet would be Toronto. Greg was getting out of the car with "After the fact" she assumed was his girlfriend. (Or is he married?), and as he was stepping out of the car, here comes my Gramma’s friend on her bike, completely zoned out, and she ran right over Greg’s foot!!! I’m gonna put what he said into lighter words and he said with a little more expression "W T F" (If you catch what I mean :P). She got up and knew who he was right away and was so embarressed for hitting Greg!! Seeing he got his foot and leg hit, I think he too that pretty well... Depending who it is, I don’t think I would even take it that well. I would probally have more to say than he did :P LOL

But yes, I would also like to hear the line that your husband said!! LOL

That's hilarious...and I too think anyone would have that reaction...(hope no major injuries were gotten)

What a shithead...on the FB guy who I am assuming is Matthew Broderick. But then again, ya know...I wouldn't let that bother you...he's just a person like any other arsehole you might run into.

I think that we all have to keep in mind that whatever the reasons, maybe a certain shyness....or just the need for privacy, whatever it is...we have to respect and appreciate it when it comes to people we are fans of. I mean what ever makes up Greg is what we love about his music and if he is a "shitkicker" (is that the term they used) then good for him and we love him for it!!!

I personally would look at fame as a curse...I could not handle it at all...but to have everything I do put under a microscope and have people coming at me all the time...I'd be swinging and I think for musicians sometimes it can be a bad side effect of achieving success in their career.

My son does a lot of extra work on movies and has meet loads of these so called stars. Meg Ryan has extras removed from the set if they try to talk to her, or at least that is what happened in Hamilton. There again it could have been a bad day.

And so well put katiescarlet. If Greg was not that "shitkicker" (such  a lovely phrase.) his music might not be what it is, we are after all a sum  of our lives and he has had some tough times.

But a thought to the black eyes he ocassionally supports maybe they were given while he was defending someone, and not, because he provoked someone. Ahhh my hero.

Josh love your Gramma's friends story. Just too funny,
