But what if you were standing between Greg and Bob Egan when you pointed left? Surprise Stick out tongue

If EVER I have the good fortune to get on stage with BR AND get to sing that song, you can bet I will be standing right beside Greg, to his right! (On his left the neck of his guitar would get between us. :p)

If by some chance we get separated, I'll just change the lyrics and insert Greg's name. :D

(You're right Sammie, subtlety may be overrated!)

Love and understanding are the best answers I've heard yet.

    If I may interject:

Linkin Park, yes that was the answer.

And: Fourth of July night ride home... I've got Joni Mitchell in my head! :p

Hmmm... I'd love to sing that song on stage with BR, and when the line "I love the man beside me..." came along, I could just point to my left. :p Lacking in subtlety, perhaps? lol

So how is Linkin Park's board anyways!

Damn, I'm all over the place...I'm thinking Ethylene then 4th of July by Shooter...I'm trying to stay on topic but I what to be on topic in the off topic thread. But I think I got it now....I wish the damn dog would stop barking at the wind.....(ok Sammy took me 4 attempts to type wind, must be something blowing in it today)

Good point! Nothing would be worse than having Greg's guitar jab you in the ribs or something.

I don't think I'd have the guts to sing ANYTHING with BR, unless it was in a living-room type of venue (like my apartment...Confused). Even then, I'd just do the harmonies and not sing solo. Oh, and Luke and Melissa would have to be there, too, because they are super cool.  Big Smile

Well, now Lily Petunia is singing John Hiatt's "I Can't Wait" at the top of her lungs all over the house (scaring the cats half to death!) & threatening to pull this stunt again!!!

lol Chill! You're not in the OT thread, but in the sandbox, so don't worry about it! :D

I just completed four VDAs, if Sammie is interested! ;)

The LPDB was LOADS of fun back in about 2004-05. I found a great bunch of people there who were very positive and imaginative. We posted a lot in High Command (their version of Floor's Open), but the most fun was had in The Mine Field, where we formed a bunch of crazy clans. We had the Priesthood of the Mighty Chestermop, dedicated to converting people to non-disposable forms of cleaning products. We fought long and hard against the Swiffers, and burned them on our ceremonial pyre for their sinful existence. Then there was the LP Union, (by baby) dedicated to bettering the posting conditions of the LP Underground members. It was all in good fun, but we did manage to get rid of the 1-minute rule for how often we could send PM's. :p We also fought against the 30-second posting rule and demanded free, fast Internet access for all members, lest they be caught off from the LPU. Oh! And the best part was, that Union Dues were paid in the form of jars of Nutella, so we never went hungry during meetings.

Wind: it blew all the clouds away so now it is at least sunny out, if chilly. :o) I'm going to have to go out soon to get some lunch, 'cause I didn't make any last night.

Sammie, if all else fails, you could sit her down with a copy of Curious George. You never know, maybe she will develop a crush and just sit there daydreaming for a while. ;)

Well, Eniko, daydreaming about her real life crush is what's causing this problem to start with!!! LOL

It doesn't help that I told her that LBM's been staring out his window watching for her! DOH!!

    Re: THE SANDBOX

Well, Sammie, in that case I suggest they invite each other to gmail! ;)

So! When and where are these lovers to be reunited? (And, if it involves a BR show, could you please keep that pink cutie away from Greg? I worry enough about human rivals! :p )

... I'm still here. I'm the only one of the administrative staf who is in the building so I at least have to wait for the receptionist to come back from lunch before going to get my sushi... I hope I find sushi! I think I can, I think I can... little BLUE engine that could! :p
