    Wish it were a Sunday...

I've lost (hopefully just misplaced!) my autographed Luke Doucet CD. :'(

Love and understanding are the best answers I've heard yet.

I hate having problems with my computer/internet.  It just took 2 calls, one to Telus and one to HP to figure out the problem.  Thank goodness they were able to fix it, I can't afford to buy a new computer.

I got up at quarter to 6 this morning, and now I just want to go to bed. Sleep

Mthead, do not jinx thyself. I was thinking I'd have to replace my old computer eventually when the thing catastrophically failed last night. It might not be fixable. I'm on my mother's laptop now, crunching replacement numbers with money I don't have. It could even endanger this year's Malkin ticket.

    borderline useless from hanging around

    Re: OT 24/7

Ok, I am NEVER working for a union again.  I just found out today that because I started above the union's minimum starting wage, it could take a year and a half to get a raise!  I have to work that long to get up to the level of pay which I got right from the start, so the company doesn't HAVE to give me a raise until I've worked enough hours to actually earn the rate I'm at now.  It might not make sense, but if I'm understanding it right, then I'm totally getting screwed.  My boss is going to double check on the rules and get back to me.  No one said anything about this when I started, I just assumed that I would get a raise every 500hrs like I was told, so what else was I supposed to think???  I've decided that I'm not going to stay there any longer no matter what they conclude, partly because of this and partly because I can't handle the constant standing on concrete floors any more.  I've got an interview on friday for something else.  Wish me luck!! ...oh wait, you can't or you'll be on topic.Stick out tongue

I saw someone knitting on the bus this afternoon.

    That someone was a guy.

This made me way happier than you could possibly believe.

Leave me alone, that's not my department.  Why do people keep bugging me with things that obviously have nothing to do with me?
