Anyways....our question is about when you 1st started to play guitar.  Did you teach yourself or did someone give you lessons?

thanks arrogant - when i started at age 12 i had a big book of beatles songs and a book of dylan songs with all the chord charts so i just spent weeks on the edge of my bed figuring things out from there. the beatles songs are great because they are in different keys like F and E flat. i quickly fine-tuned my ear to pick up licks and chords off records. plus my two older sisters dated guitar players so i always watched and learned.
