The Sandbox doesn't fix character flaws...it celebrates them!!

Oh, so I'll still be flawed but I'll be happier about it.

Better to be "flawed" than "flawged".

My iTunes is playing "Homeward Bound Angel" right now. Man, I haven't heard this song in ages. Smile

Re: I'll just sneak this in here...

I need to find a knitting pattern for a shawl or wrap. I'll be attending a fancy do in April with boyfriend dearest and I want to make something to go with my little black dress, as much for extra colour as for warmth. Also, it'll be easier to find a nice colour yarn and make something than to run around all the shops looking for something to buy.

(and I think one is allowed to post in response to someone else's post on this thread as long as the post to which you are replying is not the *last* one on the thread...if that makes any sense. Yes, I am violating this precept right now because I am sort of responding to Ann's post when it is right before mine, but I want to know what she has to say about HBA. Wink)

Re: I'll just sneak this in here...

I have had a sinus and chest cold for about a month, and I am completely fed up with feeling like this.  The doc gave me antibiotics, but one week later still no change.  Anyone have a home remedy that will rid me of this snotty plague?

Hey, another knitter on the board. What kind of wrap are you after? Do you knit lace? Sending you a PM.

And just to make this more OT, has anyone ever tried the knitter's tradition (started by a famous knitblogger) of persuading strangers to be photographed holding a sock in progress? The famous knitblogger in question recently got the Cash Brothers and Andy Maize at the Horseshoe. I've asked her how she manages these feats, and she said that she never explains, just asks people cold.

I don't think I'm brave enough to walk up to anyone with a half-finished sock, but it's fun to speculate as to which musicians would go for it.

    Hi all!

I stumbled across this add while checking my e-mail today. It said that you can vote for your favourite cities for an international version of Monopoly. Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto are on the list, along with many other great cities from other countires. I voted for Budapest because it is where I was born. I also nominated Petra because I think it would be amazing to see.

    Have your say at:

Just what the hell was Billie Joe MacAllister throwing off the Tallahatchie Bridge anyhow, before he decided to jump in after it?
