Hi..  I was just wondering if there is already a way to open threads through the links provided on the left of the DB homepage (Active Topics, etc.), so that the most recent post or page opens, instead of the first page of the thread?

If not, is it possible to change the design of these links so they do so? 

The current link setup usually just adds a time-consuming step to navigate to what (I'm assuming here...) most users likely want to see, which is the newest post/s in the thread.

Right now, there is no way to see the most recent posts using that list of active topics that exists over in the Shortcuts menu. You can however jump to the last read post in a thread by clicking on the icon that looks like a piece of orange paper that sits besides the title of each thread.

I'm not sure if we can do what you're asking but I will ask.
