New York Giants Going to the Superbowl!

Just beat the Packers 23-20 in overtime,

Classic rivalry now set up between New York and Boston.

Doesn't get much better than this...except that the Giants will be slaughtered in the Superbowl...

Oh, well we New Yorkers can feel good for the next 2 weeks anyway.

I have a good headline for that win ... "Third Tynes the Charm"

I wonder if that one was used by any NYC papers Monday. I wouldn't know because I'm down here in Florida on vacation.

Anyway, I hope the Giants make another good acounting of themselves against the Patriots ... at the very least. It would be nice if the defending Super Bowl champions opened training camp this July in Albany instead of Foxboro, but there's only so much one can realistically hope for when going up against the Pats.

Ugh, that was a rough one. Looking back it would have been better if he'd have just made the kick at the end of regulation, instead of making us stay in the cold longer and then beating us.

But it wasn't really that bad, under every piece of clothing I owned plus some I borrowed. Packers blew it, fair and square. They didn't show up to play and the Giants did.

I congratulated every Giants fan I saw on the way out and told them all how hard I'll be rooting for them to beat the Patriots. I won't even feel too bad about the Packers losing if the Giants pull that off.
