I went to a cd launch for a Montreal band called The Jack last evening at O Patro Vys, and was pleasantly surprised by the opening act.

The fellow's name is Timothy Smith and his band's name is Tim's Myth.

 The guy was great.  Great on his acoustic guitar and vocals.

If you are in Montreal, he will be playing in local bars.  He is releasing another cd later this year and recently recorded with Jean LeLoup.
