I have to agree with Dayna. After meeting the guys a "few" times it is really hard to pick one person. I have managed to have "coherent" conversations with all of them. I used to be afraid of Greg, I think that when he doesn't have his glasses on he doesn't see well and he can look rather aloof, but in 2000 I met him after a show in Saint John, and he was so sweet, ever since then I have never been afraid to approach him.
Jim, well what can I say, this last tour I had a running joke with him over the song Armour. I saw on the set list in Halifax that they were supposed to play it but didn't, greg did Diamond Mine instead, so after the show I called him on it. I said he should play it in Antigonish, again no Armour, when I called him on it again, he said "Oh thats right I said I would do it", so once again I said well you can do it in Glace Bay, again no Armour. Well after that show I called him on it again, he looked mortified that he forgot again, but the good thing is that now he remembers me!
I have also chatted with Glenn, and I think it is so sweet how he comes over with his hand out to introduce himself, as if we don't know who he is!
Baz I find is extremely chatty, get him on a topic that he is interested in and he will talk as long as you like.
James is like the social butterfly, he just moves from group to group, and Bob, I have found it depends on the crowd. If there are ppl he knows better, that is who he seems to stay with.
I have also talked with all the "Bushwack" horns too, very sweet guys all of them. The best part for me is that they just can't seem to get over their good fortune at having hooked up with BR. They seem to be almost as starstruck sometimes as we are!
I think it all comes down to personalities too, you don't always "click" with everyone. I know this from my work, somedays clients sit in my chair that I absolutely can't manage to carry on a conversation with, usually they don't come back, I have also had clients (who the stylist will say is difficult, weird, excentric etc.)of other stylists that I work with sit in my chair and I have gotten along with them great.
People, who can understand them, eh!
