    Re: Ticket Pre-sales

Thanks Lisa for clearing that up and for all the good work you do. I know my seats are what they are because I couldn't get in quickly enough to nab front row. I'm going to have to take Remedial Seat Ordering 101-b at the next chance I get. If anyone knows where this course is being offered please let me know. (lol) Best Regards, A. (aka Ol' Fumble Fingers)

    Re: Ticket Pre-sales

Thanks Lisa, for the e-mail notice of my seats! I appreciate being able to order through the pre-sales! Couldn't locate my Visa card right away, but still managed to get stage Greg on the floor!

Bluebird, I was kidding about specifying that I wanted stage Greg, front row! (I want to watch him without him watching me! Wink )

    Donna,

It will be my first time seeing them as well, Donna! Where are your seats? I know where Mr.BlueTunes will be. It would be nice to meet other BR board members while I am there. A group picture would be fantastic if that could be arranged!

    Re: Ticket Pre-sales

You know the ticket pre-sale is a bonus cause we get the best tickets in the house. I know that we all want to be up front (myself included for sure)but we do get the best seats before they go on sale so if we aren't able to get tickets then, we still have the public sale to catch. Then there is always last minute tickets that end up on the board cause someone can't make it. It's a win win situation. I know I would always want to be front row centre and I've never had that. Well I shouldn't say that, I had front row centre for the last show of the Lion King Production in Toronto and it was awesome rounder

    Re: Ticket Pre-sales

Just a thought, you guys might want to carry on the conversation about where your seats are in the Molson Amphitheatre thread under upcoming events. I think a few people have already posted their seat assignments there.

    You really are paranoid!!.

Since I joined, July 27, 2003, I have a grand total of 123 posts! Until my wife and I played some music at the meet and greet last year in Stratford, no one on here had any idea who I was! And, I'm still pretty much a lurker - hardly a person getting any special treatment. I'm a nobody like you Donnalite, but I guess I'm a faster typer!

Lisa took the time to come and tell you that you were the 89th person to order tickets. What part of that don't you understand??

Last year at Stratford, I had seats in the second row, and the the third row. In most cases, my seats where better than most of the regulars - the board "seniors" if you will. So, you theories of board favouratism are just paranoia on your part. I was getting great seats to the shows through presales long before I frequented this board!

Here's the advice you need for next time.....TYPE FASTER SO YOUR NOT THE 89TH PERSON!!!!!! When 370 tickets are sold in 1 minute, you better be REALLY fast!!!!

    Re: Ticket Pre-sales

Just one more note...its always better if you are only ordering 2 or 4 tickets. To my understanding its harder to place larger orders, which can cause you to be a few more rows back in some cases. Just something to keep in mind.

Donnalite, I am sure your going to enjoy the show even if its from the 6th row (or whichever row you are in), being your first BR show, you don't want to get too spoiled too fast Smile

    Re: Ticket Pre-sales

Not to step on any toes or p*ss anyone off, but in my opinion, I don't think complaining is going to do any good. The expression "don't look a gift horse in the mouth" comes to mind. It's all luck of the draw, really. I can speak from my personal experience that there have been times I haven't especially been a 'favored' board member, so if being one of the 'chosen few' is a criteria for getting good seats, then there would be no way I would have gotten the front row seats I got for the Vancouver 30th show!

Shooters56, my seats are right beside you! This will be the first time I will have knowingly met someone from the board. This means I'm only four rows back from the stage. I'm very excited.
