Re: Small Miracles tour articles/reviews
It is surprising that so many press people seem to not know that both Greg and Jim are the frontmen. Perhaps it is because Jim does so many of the interviews that are featured in the articles. Just btw, the editor usually writes the headline/byline for anything written for a newspaper. That may be why the other publication had a mistake in the byline although the writer got it straight in the body of the article.

Re: Small Miracles tour articles/reviews
AlreadyGone:Hehehee....what I find interesting about that artical is that Jim is quoted saying "Roots and Blues fest was fun!" If I remember correctly there were a few issues, shorten'd set because the band before went overtime and didn't some of the gear get left behind somewhere?? Oh and how could we forget the blessid cow fence seperating the crowd about 30 feet from the stage.....but hey maybe Jim had fun! I'm just surprised.
That is very funny AG! That is the one show in all the shows I have been too that I was actually disappointed. We weren't even pumped after that show. I think we went to bed at a decent hour. That's the night Greg & Bob (Egan) had some sort of dispute on stage that made them appear to be roughly five years old, Jim's voice was rough due to the fact he had been at Kathleen Edwards & Colin Cripps' wedding the night before which was the reason Prince George was DELETED from their itinerary. This is the show when I realized I am actually capable of being critical of the band which also made me realize how amazing they are because one iffy show out of probably 40 or 50 is pretty darn good odds.

Re: Small Miracles tour articles/reviews
I don't know what part of this story amazes me the most: a gig cancelled for social reasons, Jim singing poorly for social reasons, Greg and Bob E squabbling on stage, low-key Bob E bickering at all (what was that about), or you having seen so many shows.

Re: Small Miracles tour articles/reviews
Forty or fifty shows may be standard for a lot of you, but it boggles my mind. (I'd wonder if I'd spent too much of my life at the library, but how can such a thing be possible? I mean, I only have about 400 pounds of books, that's not excessive, is it?) Okay, back on topic, before the mods send me to the Sandbox or something horrible.

A bit of time in the sandbox might do you some good.

I hardly dare contemplate what character flaw the Sandbox is supposed to fix. (If anyone feels like speculating, perhaps they could put it in the OT thread?)

Who's talking about character flaws? The sandbox is just a place where some of us go to have fun... You know, to lighten up, joke around, forget about real life for awhile... I don't see what's so horrible about that, but to each her own.

Re: Small Miracles tour articles/reviews
Thanks, DonnaR! This was a pretty good article. Plus, I'm always hungry for Greg quotes. :o)
