I agree with you mthead. The suggestion that favourite members get the best seats is just paranoia as far as I am concerned - it's first come first serve. People who buy tickets from BR.COM get the best seats and I think that is AWESOME. They don't have to offer this service and I am very grateful and happy that they do. thumbup

Greg Keelor met Jim Cuddy and then I met you people. Serendipity is a marvellous thing.

I am totally in agreement with you!!! Compared to the on-line tickets to the Ticketmaster ones that we got for Calgary there was no comparison!! Thank you Lisa and all who do all the hard work for the ticket pre-sales, I'm just one of many who appreciate it!!! thumbup

I for sure am thankful for these presale tickets. Let me tell you, I had never bought these tickets before. I always bought through the venue or ticketmaster and my tickets were not very good. Any of these tickets are better than what you would get from buying outside BR.com. Thank you thank you thank you. Can't thank you enough Big Grin

Found this article on ticket buying, scalpers, etc. on Jam Music that I thought some of you might be interested in reading.

It is amazing to me that 6,000 tickets can be sold in 1 minute on ticketmaster!!! So if you thought it was hard getting tickets through BR.com, try ticketmaster sometime! Frown

Yes,read it in the Sun today. There are over 200 Ticketmasters too in Ontario. And with ticket limits of 8 sometimes......and the internet.Anyone can purchase any event they choose too, regardless of location.I`ve always had a good shot of seats by waiting until the day before or day of.You`d be surprised the seats that one can find. For example,we hit front row centre for Clapton 4 years ago, front row for the Dixie Chicks 2 years ago,First row Sect 109 for Coldplay a week ago.So all`s not lost. Now if the so called brokers were`nt able to find a way to always have seats........

It really does suck doesn't it. Frown Gone are the days when calling another city would get you better tickets because their phone lines wouldn't be crammed. This story just makes me that much happier about the BR pre-sales. Smile
