The folks at my tarot study group last night were telling me that it's actually about 12 days after Solstice that humans really start to notice the days getting longer. Whatever - I'm just happy knowing that they are!
We won't be at the 'Shoe, though; we've decided to go to the Cadillac Lounge to see John Borra. We've done the Sadies/'Shoe NYE show a twice and seen the Sadies at least half a dozen times, and while we love them, we'd like to try something a little different. I've seen JB twice and schwa_guy has seen his band only once. Besides, we'd like to go to a place where we can see the talent while seated and also order some dinner.
Whereabouts in T.O. are you, BTW?
