    Re: Live Concert Disc?

Whew! I thought I was the only one who loved JLAV cause no one really ever mentions it when they talk about their releases. That was my first BR CD purchase. Before the 2nd song was over, "What am I doing Here" I became a true BR fan.

And yes, Montreal is great with the intro story. The piano riff in the middle is one of the greatest.

JAM, it will be one of your favorites!

That's the second time someone has mentioned MONTREAL. That's it, I'm off to find it NOW. Smile

Lisa, I think it's a great idea. Every time there's a review of a show, it makes me wish I could have been there.

    Re: Live Concert Disc?

Well I just picked up "just like a vacation" gonna listen now. I had a hard time finding it so I guess making a cd of live recordings after the show is a good idea. I had to go to 5 stores until I found it. Talk about searching.

    Re: Live Concert Disc?

No I love it. I've played it a few times already that my kids came and put on coldplay instead. They said that's I'm crazy for listening to the same cd that many times in a row.

Thanks I know it's one of my favourites for sure. Love Florida and of course I loved Montreal. They sang it slower as well. Ohhhh for them to play it at a concert that I'm attending would mean the world to me. You know I cried hearing Montreal on this cd and I got goosebumps listening to Florida. Now, that says something doesn't it? Smile thumbup love

I am so glad you like it JAM. When I first got that cd I played it over and over. I am not usually a huge fan of live cds but this one is the exception. Your kids may think you're crazy but not me. Wink

I knew you wouldn't be disappointed JAM. Can't blame you one bit for listening to it over and over. If your kids truly understood your BR obsession, they would get why you listened to it so many times. I guess only us here on the board 'get you'! (jkWink)

    Re: Live Concert Disc?

Actually I had that cd playing while we were having dinner last night with some friends, and of course all the kids were there. The first thing they said, is not again. But my friend said to leave it cause he likes BR as well. So I guess he came to my rescue to leave it in while having dinner. Usually we have dinner music on but I still had the cd in so I just played it. See, things worked out fantastic thumbup. I love it and that's an understatement love

I really do think that having a cd after the concert is a great idea. I know for a fact that I would buy it. Just to relive the concert over and over and over etc Big Grin rounder

    Re: Live Concert Disc?

JAM, I agree completely. There is nothing like a live cd of a show that you've been to.

I don't have any BR material from a show I've attended, but I do for some of my other favourites (like Springsteen).

It is wonderful to be able to relive your concert moments. Those moments between songs are the best, when the band banters with the audience!

Let's hope that they do it! I really, really wanted some live material from the POG tour. The tracks on the US release just give us a taste of what "could be".

Enjoy your cd! The official rule is that you are allowed to play it 12 times before anyone is allowed to complain. Wink

Yes! I would buy a live concert disc... we were at the Antigonish show last month...some pretty fancy recording was going on...we were hoping they were making a disc to be sold...I would buy a recording from any venue, though Smile

Any chance of getting this show on the road?? This would be an awsome idea! I think we need to get rolling on it.

    Thanks.

    I agree, Joe.

Has there been any work done to start this up? It certainly looks like the poll results are conclusive.
