Hello--even when I've only been away for an hour the board spits up 49+ pages of "new since last visit" Thanks!

The NSLV works for me in the sense that it now gives me the latest posts. At first it was correct in that it showed me only posts that happened since my last visit. Now it shows the most recent posts and many others. This morning when I used NSLV the search gave me several pages. This has been happening for several days. The last post it showed was this post from Sunday.

That is a very old post and I have been on many times between that post and this morning.

I believe this is last post I read before I went to bed last night.

The corrections that Jonmark made were to get you access to the latest posts. The larger cookie problem still exists and he has inserted some new code in the next release that will give us more information as to the cause of the issue. Again, I apologise for how long this is taking but we are working to find the cause.

I tried NSLV after being offline for 4 days and it came up with over 1400 posts! Obviously that wasn't right, so something is out of whack.

Yes, you are correct. The temporary fix allows you to get current information for NSLV...and then some....We have added some code to the new release that will help Jonmark determine the underlying cause for the issue so that he can fix it permanently. Thanks for all your patience with us.

Thanks for the update Denise. Speaking for myself I say take all the time you need to test it so that we don't go through what happened with the last update. I would rather wait for the update than go through all the frustration of the last update.

While this release will fix some issues, it won't fix the NSLV issue. Jonmark has added some new code that will provide him with specific information about what is happening to the cookies causing them not to update and rotate correctecty so that he can fix the problem. I am all for testing!

I haven't had any problems with the *NSLV* for a couple of weeks now, it's been working just fine!!

Lisa, FYI, I also sometimes have issues with the custom avatars loading fullscreen before resizing to the correct size. I've had it happen with both the most recent Firefox version and IE (version 6.0).

Lisa, I experience the custom avatars loading huge also and I use Internet Explorer.

Lisa I use Firefox, I believe the most recent version (1.something).

The avatar thing is not a huge deal though really; the one that's annoying is when the pages load to the right and off my screen - I don't know if anyone else is experiencing that one?

RE: avatars loading large

I find this is an intermittent problem with only a few of the images, notably the ones dar and SarahG are using. I'm using IE 6.
