Thanks for the feedback on the avatars schwa_girl and bluebird! It appears that the avatar resizing issue is due to a technical limitation with the board software. If the avatar image is large, the whole image is loaded first and then resized by the browser. This can cause the page to temporarily display incorrectly and slow load times, especially for users with dial-up connections.
Infopop has been notified about this issue. In the meantime though, if you notice that your avatar is on the large size, you can simply resize them to avoid any future problems with the loading of pages.
Here’s how you can resize your avatar if need be:
- Go to this page:
http://magick.net4tv.com/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi- Select the filename or URL of your avatar
- Click 'View'
- Click on the 'Resize' tab
- Set the Image size to '48x48'
- Click the 'Resize' button
- Click the 'Output' tab
- Click the 'Output' button
- Save your image
- Then upload the new image just as you did for your old custom avatar.
If you guys notice any other issues or are experiencing any problems with the resizing, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Also, they are still investigating the NSLV issue, I’ll keep you posted!
