    Insert/Edit Image

    Hey Folks,

Quick question, when I go to click on  the "Insert/Edit Image" button (tree one) and put in the image url, all I get is the "broken image icon" Does the photo's have to be from a Club Photo, etc style site, like the old board was?

    Thanks and Cheers!

I think (and I ain't no expert here) that either the url is incomplete or the image has been taken down. If it's a club photo type situation, right click on the image itself and hit properties...that will give you a url that's just the picture and not the whole club photo view page.

OK my brain hurts......don't shoot me if I'm not clear.

Thanks NYC! I've never been sure of the whole pic posting thing. Can you take a image off a regular website and add it to your post?

Yes - the same way. Try it here and see if it works.

    Hi RumGeoff,

When you insert the URL of the photo, be sure to include the "http://" part. It needs that or the photo won't show.

You should be able to post any photo that's already hosted somewhere and therefor has its own URL already set up.

Feel free to post a few test photos in this thread if you want to.

    Lindsay
