My favourite constellation would be Orion since it is so visible and easy to make out and you can use it to find other constellations.

I won a free stay at a B&B for answering correctly a trivia question on a radio station.

Re: Does the person below me...

I have stopped again....I am committed to doing this right this time. I set a quit date, which was monday, and so far so good. It will be tough this weekend though. Really though, I should just remind myself of our friend who went to the doctor last tuesday with blurry vision and tonight he is in a bed on the palliative care unit and they really believe that he has just hours left to live. He and his wife and then their children have always smoked, alot. So, this had better be it.

DTPBM watch a lot of TV?

Re: Does the person below me...

I love Christmas! I may have already said that some where on here!! LOL! I love it for the fact that for the most part, people are friendlier, more kind to others (except parents who are diving for that last "fill in the blank" that is popular this year! I really believe that we need to pull back on all the buying, and I wonder if we are trying to buy happiness or love or whatever. I think Christmas lights should be called winter lights and that it would brighten up all those long, cold winter nights!

DTPBM drive, walk, take the bus or car pool to get to work?

I walk...currently to the spare bedroom, but by Spring (hopefully) to the backyard & my new Studio!  Plans are coming along nicely to renovate the second (detached) garage.

Re: Does the person below me...

I love any kind of weather event. I find Mother Nature facinating in her fury. I would be the crazy lugnut who would sit out a Hurricane if I lived in Florida. I also love lightning and snowstorms. When I was in Arizona, we had a dust devil go right over the house when we were having breakfast. That's the closest I'll ever get to a tornado so I found it interesting even if we did have to go out and fetch all the patio furniture. I can still hear the metallic sound in my head if I try.

DTPBM like vanilla or chocolate ice cream?

I suppose chocolate would be my choice.

(I had to fight my old man to keep him inside during a hurricane, he wanted to out in the middle of it all. I didn't think that was such a great idea to go "check things out".)

DTPBM have a favourite type of cuisine?

To be or not to be is NOT the question!

Rather, is it your will to be here, or to be elsewhere?

Re: Does the person below me...

Moon & Tree always works for me! I could think of quite a few other BR tunes for mood elevation. Now that I think of it I think part of the reason that I love BR so much is that they have stuff for all moods. I love listening to Side of the Road or Dark Angel especially when I am out on a long run all by myself out on a country road.

DTPBM have a favorite pet from their life?

Re: Does the person below me...

We have had so many cats over the years it is hard to pick a favorite.  I think our first cat, Dusty, was possibly the best behaved cat we ever had.  He never got on the furniture or clawed anything, he ate the same food year in and year out on newspaper, went to the door and asked to go out when he had to go.  We didn't know what a treasure he was until much later when other naughty kitties came to live with us!

DTPBM own a Beatles record or cd?

I carry with me the memory of a field I once knew, of a night so full of stars that I was left humbled by it's endless beauty. I know that whatever the cost, life is worth living. So bring it on...I can take it.

I have only one Beatles record and of all things the whole album cover is in German. I'm not a big Beatlephile so all I can tell you is that it's one of their first albums with songs like Please please me etc.I googles the cover here it is.

Hey jello!  Yes, I watch videos on youtube all the time.  The kids at school got me hooked on that website.  You can find pretty much anything there.  It's amazing!

Re: Does the person below me...

Special? Well that depends on your definition of special? My wife and I always go out with our two daughters and cut our own tree. Xmas day is always started by each of us "opening" our stockings, all of the gifts inside are wrapped including chapstick, gum, etc. It can take soem time!Wink There is always a lot of music in the air with Bruce Cockburn's and Jimmie Buffets being particular favorites! This traditions are probably not out of the ordinary, but they are special to us!

DTPBM dream of an exotic vacation?
