    Hey,

There was a Blue Rodeo special on there a while back...which included the DVD, 20 Years of Stereovision...(If you send an e-mail to BRAVO...channel 40, on Rogers...they may replay it...)It also also had the Try video at the very end of the show and some really cool older stuff...from around 1987...near the beginning...

Things like five will get you six...he looks like he has at least 10 now...which is why it's better to look at old footage to see what he really looks like...The Andrew McNaughton picture at the front for example blurs him beyond recognition, don't you think...he also does the Great Big Sea videos...watch Séan McCann in those...you'll get what I mean...

By he, I mean Keelor...but Cuddy, like McCann, is also hard to recognise...Keelor looks completely different from way back then...if I ever meet him I'm going to trick him into saying synthesizer just to be sure it's him...you'll get what I mean if you watch the Bravo special...

I know that they replay these things...Tuesdays at 8PM, I think is the time slot..EST...because I have noticed repeats of other shows...

I will start requesting it on CMT and MUCHMORE (Jim Cuddy called himself old on the Neil Young special) Music and even MUCHMUSIC and MTV...Blue Rodeo used to be played there...maybe they'll make us a pop up video with that song...

If there is no place to request the song, send a nice letter...in the e-mail section...

...are you allowed to do that...?

...with all of the copyright infringement societies the 'artists' have now...I wouldn't think they'd like that...

...I personally enjoy these "rebel" videos...I am just really surprised they are letting you "deal" in them in here.Smile

You didn't seem to be too concerned with copyright infringement in that post up there under your other handle (LindaL) so I don't understand why you're so concerned now. If the guys/site/management had a problem with it, this thread/the trading network obviously wouldn't be in existence. Smile

I don't know about anyone else, but I've just about had my fill of your sh*t disturbing. Go take a long walk off a short pier.

Excellent idea Bluegirl.  Another idea is that she should get a life before she bores us all to death.Sleep

Greg Keelor met Jim Cuddy and then I met you people. Serendipity is a marvellous thing.

Re: Announcing ... Blue Rodeo Concert Trading Network (BR-CTN)

I've always thought this was a great idea for a thread.  I love hearing BR and its members live.  Maybe we can start posting shows in mp3 format.  I know there's a whole discussion on .flac vs .mp3.  but I listen to these shows through my iPod and don't mind the lesser audio quality (and it's a whole lot easier than torrents).  In any case, to prime the pump, here's one to start:

    Jim Cuddy Band
    Kingfest
    King City, ON
    June 23, 2007
    Broadcast on "Canada Live"
    CBC Radio 2 (CBU 105.7 FM - Vancouver) on December 15, 2007

    01 Intro
    02 All I Need
    03 Too Many Hands
    04 Married Again (1)
    05 Announcer Talk
    06 Bad Timing (1)(2)
    07 Falling (1)(2)
08 Five Days In May > One Fine Day
    09 Announcer Talk
    10 Pull Me Through
11 Light That Guides You Home
    12 Band Intros
    13 Trust Yourself
    14 Outro

Jim Cuddy - vocals & guitar
    Colin Cripps - guitar
    Bazil Donovan - bass
    Robert Packwood - keyboards
    Joel Anderson - drums
    Anne Lindsay - violin
    Kathleen Edwards - vocals (1)
    Justin Rutledge - vocals (2)

It's a really great show if you haven't heard it.  Enjoy!

Mods:  If this is against any rules, please let me know and I can delete the upload.

Re: Announcing ... Blue Rodeo Concert Trading Network (BR-CTN)

    You are most welcome.

This is the most recent Blue Rodeo and/or solo live stuff I've seen out there (except for the one hour CBC Edmonton show from January 7, 2008).

Does anyone have any live recordings from the SMALL MIRACLES tour?  Thanks in advance (I hope)!

Hi, Larry.  Thanks for keeping an eye out for any new boots!

Today's treat is a link to download the "Daze in America" Promo CD.  Since it's specifically labeled Not For Sale, I don't think it's a problem posting it:

With thanks to the original poster
