Okay, I hear you about Vietnam, that the soldiers themselves stopped supporting that fight at some point, but I have provided what I believe is at least some proof from a Canadian soldier who speaks from the heart about his situation in his conflict. I can't really speak about the Iraqian thing, the way our friends to the south can, because we are not there and Bruce is speaking, at least in his mind, for them, not Canucks.
But anyway, I'll say it again, I don't mind controversy and as people here well know, I'm no stranger to debate, but this thread was started by a soldier asking for help and/or information about BR... period.
So, if you want to defend your position, then do so if you wish, just not in this particular thread because whatever you think about the situation, these fellows have enough real fighting and dying to contend with over there. Hence, I suspect they are not anxious to get into philosophical debates about war and peace.
To be or not to be is NOT the question!
Rather, is it your will to be here, or to be elsewhere?
