My Dad is visiting my cousin in Edmonton and yesterday it was -44 with windchill.  That was on the same day that the anchors on the local station were going on about how cold it was in Vancouver which meant it was 0.  I love Vancouver but my god we have a lot of wimps living here.   It is actually a winter wonderland here today.  It snowed all night so it looks beautiful right now.

I don't mean to be on topic, but rabbitprincess posted about the weather here in AB just before I was going to.  It's so freaking cold here right now, pipes are freezing, cars won't start, it's taking 3 - 4 hours for a tow truck.  I heard on the radio some people burnt down their mobile home trying to thaw their pipes with a blowtorch yesterday.

I wanna go to Aruba , sit on some tropical beach with a drink with an umbrella in it and forget about this place for the next few months.
