So my dad is having a few drinks and listening to music... and I was watching TV.  He came into the living room with a list... and asked me to fill in the blanks.  He listed musicians from each province that he likes because he wants to make a mixed cd for some friends of ours that we met in Las Vegas.  He had most of them filled out, but I added a few.  Anyway, I thought I'd post what we have so far here... and ask for your suggestions.

I think that Ontario has claim as the birthplace of Neil Young. He lived in Toronto off and on until some point in high school.  He attended Lawrence Park for awhile.  You could ascribe Luke Doucet to Winterpeg though.

It's funny... a lot of people think Roch Voisine is from Québec because he sings in French... but he's from a small town called St. Basile, New Brunswick.  It's near Edmunston. 

And thanks Ann for clearing that up.  I am always confused about where Neil Young calls home.  I looked it up on Wikipedia.... and it says he was born in Toronto... so you're right.  It also says that he moved to Winnipeg when he was 12.  I guess that's why I was confused. 

Oh and that's cool about Luke Doucet.  I've heard a lot about him here... but have yet to see him live. 

I'd also like to add Shannon Lyon to Ontario's list.  I can't believe I forgot him.
