For the record, All of my songs ARN'T about Erin, but their the best I've written when it was about love.. I've written kind of a grungey not-so-friendly song towards someone (Of whom I would never tell them its about them), and I've written one about my Nana after she died in November.. Its pretty corney, because I coulden't write serten things without brakeing into tears.. And I'm in mid-session with another song and busy helping a friend with one! lol!

 Some people wonder where I get the time for this.. I have a book where I write, but I take it to language class, because we get to read for half the class, but, I write and the teacher says " Well, if your gonna write in my class your gonna have to shar them. (Not with the class) For extra credit" I havent decided if I'm gonna or not.

 One word of advice, (coming from myself who has been a member of the "Manitoba Independent Songwriters Circle" for the last 6 years and currently serving third term on the board of directors) Please let everyone who views your lyrics know the "YOU" are aware of your own copyrights. From the moment you create anything including lyrics, the work of art is considered copyrighted.

One of the first things we do when creating lyrics is we “establish copyright” and we do that by mentioning on the paper or web page that you use to let others view your lyrics. For example here is the title block of one of my songs:
