    New Song

Hey Everyone.. .I wrote a new one. (Actually I wrote it over March Break)

     Friendly Touch

    Key: C

    Josh Dwyer Original.

    G                 Am
Everyone make me feel so useless,
    C                   D
Everyone wants to bring me down.
    G                        Am
I don't even know how anyone could do this,
    C                    D
Always feel like I want to drown.
    Pre-Chorus:

    C                G
    I tore my heart out,
        Am              D
To tell you how I feel for you.
        C                      G
I didn't know after you'd just idgore me,
       Am                 D
Leave me here with nothing to do.

The words you said were completely hollow,
Feel so stupid, like the biggest fool.
Told by friends it was all just made up,
All your lines were meant to be cruel.

    Pre- Chorus:

Oh, my heart is broken now,
Know I mean nothing to you.
    When I think of you,
    I stumble do-ow-own.

    Chorus:

          Am
    Your words to me,
              Em
    Were too much to bear.
         C
    And you walk around,
         G
    Without a care.
        Am
    I didn't know this would,
      Em
    Hurt so much.
      C
    Just 'Cuz' you lost,
              G Gsus4
    Your friendly touch.

    Acoustic Solo

I might be hurt and bent out of shape,
But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna fall for you.
I think of you night after night,
Thats the only thing I want to do.

    Pre - Chorus:

    Your still the one who has my heart;
    Yes I still love you.
After what you did to me,
I guess you could call me a willin' fool.

    End - Chorus:

    Your words, to me,
    Pull me up,
    And tumble me down,
    Like I hadn't had enough.
I didn't know this would be so rough,
    Just 'cuz' your the one,
    I've been dreaming of.
          G              Am
    And All Because you lost,
     C              D
    Your friendly touch.

    (Same chords progresson : G, Am, C, D)

    Ohh --- Thats enough.
And all because you lost (stop playing)
    Your friendly touch.

    Re: New Song

I wrote this one today and yesterday.

    A Love Song

    Key: A
    Capo: 2nd fret
Opening on electric guitar: (Start with this the make it up):

E-15-15-15-15-15-15-12-10 -------10- ect. (Keep on going but make up)
    B--------------------------12-10----

    C
    She was down,
            F
    In a river bed,
    C
    I was with her,
           F
    And all I said.
             C                      G                  D  Dsus4
Was how her beautiful eyes took my breath.

    At the time I felt,
    So alive.
    To say what I want,
    And no more lies.
Wake up to see it was all a Dream.

    Bridge:

    A Barre
I wish I could tell her,
               F#m Barre
What I said in the dream.
                 G
    But my mouth gets dry,
               A barre
    And I just can't speak.
         G                      A                D Dsus2
I always wish I would tell her how I feel.

    Chorus:

           G                         D
Her eyes, have a beautiful glow.
          C                      D
In all ways she too good for me,
             C             G
    Thats something everyone should know.
But love makes you do the craziest things.
Like write all these love songs,
    Where shes the meaning.

    When I see her,
    I'm all chocked up.
    Too many words,
    To express my love.
Because of that I just stand and watch her smile.
Oh-- woho Just for a while

    Shes the most,
    Beautiful girl I've ever met.
    I can't believe how easy,
    She takes my breath.
    And leaves me a wreak.

    Everyone thinks,
What I say is a lie.
    Just 'cuz she georgus,
Is not the only reason why.
I've never felt this way in my life.

    End Chorus:

Her eyes, have a beautiful glow.
In all ways shes too good for me,
    Thats something everyone should know.
But love, Its hard to explain.
    It makes your heart sink,
Just to be in the same place.

    Reg chorus:

Her eyes, have a beautiful glow.
In all ways shes too good for me,
    Thats something everyone should know.
But love, makes you do the craziest things,
Like write all these love songs,
    Where shes the meaning.

Tagling : Whenre shes the meaning ...

    Silent end.

    Re: New Song

Oh, All of these Im  gonna be playing as my own around cottage campfires, I  just wont let everyone know the story behind them because every - single - person will know who Im talking about :P. Thats why I use alot of "Yous' and "Hers". I mention her name once or twice or thrice, but thats it. I would love to record them, but I can't stand my own voice! lol! If I had a penny for everyone who told me I was a decent - singer.. I'd be rich.

    Re: New Song

Well we are our own worst critics, eh??? So I bet everyone who has told you that you are a decent singer, was being honest.

The songs are great and such a great way to be able to express yourself !!!

    Re: New Song

OOh yeah! I dont mean to be so vain, but scince Im all right at rhymeing, I love to express that way.. The fist song I wroter ("Own Right Mind) I sang that to who it was about and put her in tears (From what my friends said), and I dont think I could have done that by just talking to her, because whenI did try to talk to her I  said the stupidest thing that came to mine!

    Re: New Song

    Hi Everyone

Lol thanks for the Juno's comment... I would love to get that far someday (A self-doubt, but at the same time, a set goal.). And I also want to get something recorded like I said.

By the way, for everyone who likes my writing, keep an eye open because I'll be pulling some new ideas out of my pocket soon enough, because after May 24 weekend, cottage season starts and I get my inspiration back! I'm in mid with a song right now, but with lac of brains and ideas, I have to wait a while.

And Thanks for your tip because I have a new idea how to say stuff.. Dont say anything at all, and I can't be a fool. (Open mouth, insert foot")Stick out tongue

Lol stay tuned... Hope to post somthing soon!

Re: Some Of My Songs - May and June!

Good to hear, looking forward to reading them! Good luck with Erin, I'm sure she'll be fine, probably after she thinks about it she won't think it's such a big deal.

Hey! if you ever make an album you can call it 3333 or Quadruple 3, lol!
