    Merch Poll

I just voted in the Merch Poll but I really need to leave a comment explaining.  My vote was that I am not interested in the merch.  Reason being, of all the things I would want I would want a Tshirt but they are never sized for the average or above average woman.  It would be nice to one day see plus sizing at the Merch table.....and proper plus sizing too!!!

    Anybody else feel this way??

I hear ya!  The last t-shirt I bought was for POG and even that one was quite snug.  Needless to say I don't wear it anymore and I don't even bother looking at the shirts at the merch table because they're not even close to being big enough!  Maybe we should petition the manufacturers or someone in charge of merchandising????

I agree.. I really loved the ladies embroidered hoody..but it wouldn't have fit me.  I bought a ladies medium for my 10 year old daughter, and it fits her nicely.  I settled on the mens hoody for myself because it is larger, but I definately liked the ladies one better.

Thanks for starting this thread AG.  This is something that has bugged me for a very long time.  I would love to buy a t-shirt or sweatshirt but I don't bother even looking because I know they don't have plus size items.  It seems like Blue Rodeo is missing a business opportunity because they have a huge female fan base and I think they would sell a lot more items if they offered larger sizes.  For that matter there are probably a lot of men who wouldn't fit into the largest size they offer.  The reality is a lot of their fans are wear larger sizes.  Here's hoping the next tour offers a better selection of sizes.

Wouldn't it be nice if the women's items didn't fit exactly like the men's? I'm almost plus size in one place, and I won't buy merch because it'll fit like a feed sack if I don't want it tight.

Hey Hazy, remember those drunk, dancing kids at Malkin? They made their own shirts and they were pretty nice. I've been thinking I might try it. You game?

Well, if this helps your cause at all - Just to give you an idea of how small the women's clothing items are made... I'm fairly petite right now and my size medium t-shirt from the AYR tour (the red one with the blue & white sparkly lettering) is almost skin-tight on me.

I remember when Jim did his "All In Time" tour, the shirts were much bigger! I used mine as a sleep shirt! LOL!

I actually really like the men's brown hoodie more than the women's hoodie. I'm wondering if the small would fit me? Maybe I could scoot in at the Cornwall show and pick it up!

    Re: Merch Poll

Here's a question: would anyone be interested in non-clothing merch?

Patches, pins, charms? Like they have at some of the bigger festivals. It would get around any size issue, and surely there's a decent profit margin on a pin.

I'd like some kind of Blue Rodeo tour pin, pendant, or tag for my charm "string", a chain that holds souvenirs of some of my travels.

Pins would be a really neat idea. I'd buy 'em. Smile

Im not too interested in the merchandise.   The only thing I wanted was the album, and I got that.
