Blue Rodeo... 'Til I Am Myself Again

I never expected to hear their music blasting out onto the strip... then I remembered, this was a song from the Casino album.

Then it all made sense to me!

(I wonder if that was intended? - not that it made sense to me, but that it was a song from the Casino album! LOL)

It was sorta surreal, but kinda made my day... always nice to have a little bit of Canada follow you around.

 

 

 

 

 

Thats cool...I love when things like that happen!!  Blue Rodeo is actually going to be playing in Las Vegas in May.

When I read the newsletter today and saw that Blue Rodeo is playing at The House of Blues... I thought that was pretty freaking cool.  It's too bad they didn't play there at Christmas time when Dad and I were there vacationing. 

But yeah... I can't imagine hearing Blue Rodeo playing while walking down The Strip.  That must have been a very cool moment.  While I was at the Hard Rock Café... we kept hearing Bryan Adams all the time... probably because he was scheduled to play at The Joint in February.

OMG, I have vacation scheduled for May and enough airline miles to get there.....hmmmmmm, mmmmmm, Vegas is awesome, BR could only make it more awesome!

That is cool that the Tropicana has some BR in their house music.  I would love to see them in Vegas, but it's not going to work for me to get down there in May.  That's Memorial Day weekend, so the town should be even more hopping than normal.  If anyone reading this has access to speak to any of the band, they should let them know that John Eddie and band are playing all that week and through the weekend at Toby Keith's Bar inside Harrah's.  If they get there a day early or stay a day later, they could go check them out if they desired.
