LOL...I just caught this commercial.  I was sitting here on my laptop surfing when the intro started and I just started singing the song...then I went...wait a minute, thats Greg Keelor...on a commercial?  Cool.

I heard it as well while watching Dancing With The Stars and I thought woohoooooo, made me smile from ear to ear----what a great song for that commercial

That's really cool - I can't wait to see the commercial.  I always thought VIA RAIL had good commercials... and especially now with them using a BR song.  Right on!

THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD.......just though i'd say that.

I finally saw it yesterday too.  I had fallen asleep on the couch... and all of a sudden, it brought me out of my sleep.  The channel I had it on was the Weather Network.  Nice commercial... nice scenery and music of course!

Has anyone seen (or, more importantly HEARD) the new VIA commercial on TV over the past couple of weeks? 

Schwa-Guy thinks Greg sold out, but *I* think the sound track is very uplifting.  I crank the volume up to, oh, about 50 when that ad comes on.  Can't get enough of "So Far Away," even if it's just for a few seconds...

I  don't think Greg sold out at all...considering the commerical is promoting train travel across Canada.   It's a great country and would like to think that BR thinks so too and enjoy promoting it.  

I think a Jann Arden's song was in a Via commercial as well, a couple of years ago.  

 I also think it is neat that VIA is promoting Canadian artists as well.
