    Songs to hear live

I'm really enjoying Crying, Heart Like Mine, After the Rain and Black Ribbon live on this tour (I've been to two shows so far).

I would like to hear something other than 5 days in May, as has occured in the last 4 shows I've been to, in the past two years.

    How about you?

"Cynthia" doesn't get much airplay off that album, does it? At least not at the shows *I* attend. Stick out tongue And as I mentioned in the "Songs I'd Like to Hear Jim Sing" thread, it'd be nice to hear "Girl of Mine" sometime.

Off the new album, I wish they'd played "Mystic River"; that's my favourite Jim song on it.

In August 2006, BR played on a hot summer Friday night, by the waterfront in old Montreal. Most of the show was based on 5 Days in July, including Cynthia. It was their best show yet. The evening was great!!! Maybe on the next tour.

    Hey katiescarlet,  Right Hug

I was able to make the Cornwall (approx 600 people attend) show a week ago. I would certainly try to attend one in or near St Pete.

You could be their South East promoter.  Afterall, they went to South West Texas just a few weeks ago, what's a few miles extra to Florida? I think you should suggest it to the powers that be. I'm sure they would appreciate it especially in the colder months. Cool

Oh, here's another one I'd love to hear live: "Where Are You Now". Man, that was one of my favourites when I was six or seven. Smile

    Re: Songs to hear live

When I saw them in Sudbury they played probably around 25 or so songs.  They played all of Five Days in July, with the acception of English Bay for some reason.  I was surprised that they played almost a whole album.  I also noticed that they completely skipped over everything from Nowhere to Here to Are You Ready.  So I'd like to hear them play some stuff off those albums.  Songs like "Stuck on You", "I Could Never be That Man", "Side of the Road" etc.

I really enjoyed having them play 5 Days in May.  I tend to listen to that song quite a bit anyway, but seeing it live produced a whole different feeling for me.

Not really when you're playing in an arena. I'm sure the guys put on a great show as they usually do, but I doubt they'll be going back if only 600 people showed up. Not to the Civic Complex, anyway. What I don't understand about my hometown is how people *** and complain about never getting any good concerts, but when a great band DOES come to town people don't buy tickets. Go figure. Didn't realize it was an arena, I thought maybe it was a small venue. That does seem odd then that people didn't show up and if that's how it goes, then nope, they won't get the good shows.

The songs I would love to here live would be:  House of Dreams, Walk Like You Don't Mind, Somebody Waits, Sky and OutSkirts.  These are just a few of all the wonderful songs that they should play more of in concert.
