To be or not to be is NOT the question! Rather, is it your will to be here, or to be elsewhere?

Wasn't that great when Robin Williams sang that at the Academy Awards a few years go?

Too bad. I didn't get to see that, GG. As for you, NYC. I thought sure that you'd refer to Céline, but I digress.

granolaGirl: I'd like to hear your views on the state preventing two people from getting married, Johnny.
As is the case in Israel? Israel is a racist, bigotted state driven & fuelled by the worst kind of isolationist, supremacist ideology. Regarding the current bloodshed & widespread terror impacting the region, Zionist "leaders" clearly ought to be extradited to the Hague & tried on crimes against humanity.
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side. Hunter S. Thompson http://www.jambc.com

I wasn't thinking of Israel. I was thinking of Stephen Harper.

Re: I had to turn the boys away from my bar!
What a bizarre thread. We went from ID'ing in Alberta to Stephen Harper and touched on the perils of being taxed in Canada to Racist behaviour by the Israelis???? I dunno, I live in Florida, in the States and not more than a couple of weeks ago I had to spend 20 minutes looking through my purse for my ID to get into a bar. I had already had a few drinks and couldn't find the damn thing. So I don't see how id'ing to get in a bar is a socialist trait?? And its not like I'm some spring chicken either. Taxation on the other hand may be, but I have also learned you pay either way. I pay close to 400.00 per month for my health insurance and that is through work. So I think in the long run my out of pocket tax/insurance or tax money may be a wash . And as far as the middle east is concerned...it is very, very sad and very, very unnecessary. The fighting over religions that were all based on one original belief is very, very sad. I hope to God that it will stop one day and everyone can start seeing what was originally the "way".

And I hope you is not going out in the sun without an umbrella, Katie Scarlett! After all the buttermilk Mammie put on your porcelain skin! Just had to say that, katiescarlet!
I carry with me the memory of a field I once knew, of a night so full of stars that I was left humbled by it's endless beauty. I know that whatever the cost, life is worth living. So bring it on...I can take it.

Ha Ha Ha, I must admit I haven't been so good about protecting my porcelain skin, but now that I have seen the first hint of crow's feet, I may be taking that umbrella after all. (I'm a tad bit slow replying, eh?)

Hey dar,
Never mind those 'feet' ...
To us, you're a cool kitty with a bitchin' stack of Marshalls
and an affinity for Blue Rodeo's repertoire. 'Nuff said.
