I wish I could offer you a ride to Paris, Josh, but with it being just outside of our hometown of Brantford, I can't be sure that we might not have to fit in family visits that weekend. Sorry. I hope something will work out for you!

I got my tickets and looking forward to the Concert!! It will be my first time seeing the Sadies! I have seen one of the Good Brothers when he was performing for the Jim Cuddy Band and of course from time to time when they come on stage to Jam with Blue Rodeo so it will be awesome.

I live in Simcoe so its pretty close!

Does anyone have any more information on this event?  The Grand Stage website  at http://www.grandstage.ca/index.html doesn't say when each act will be on.  It looks as if it will be an excellent day of music.  I think I'm going to try to get there.

The only thing I've been able to find says the gates open at 1:30 and Blue Rodeo plays at 8:30.

I've heard that the times aren't set yet but Matthew Good is scheduled at 7:30 and Blue Rodeo at 9:00---that's the only times they have set right now, I emailed them to ask that question and they're working on it

I just got my email confirmation and here's what it said...

VENUE:                   Paris Fairgrounds
DOORS:                  1:00 PM
SHOWTIME:             1:30 PM

BLUE RODEO:           8:30 PM

hmmmm that's strange cause I got an email directly from the person scheduling it and I was told 9:00 but 8:30 is GOOD with me.....as long as that doesn't cut The Sadies time....that would make me ......MAD

Here's some more infomation I got in an email from the Grand Stage Team.  Still no confirmation of exact times.

The main stage is outdoors, and is located in behind the grand stand.

Here is an outline of the stages:

Main Stage

-Blue Rodeo

-Matthew Good

-The Sadies

-The Salads

-Grand Theft Bus

 

Community Stage

-The Steve Elmo Murphy Band

-The Stars Here

-The Foreign Films

-Blind Mule

-The Raccoon Wedding

  The stages will alternate, and will never run at the same time.

  Lastly, the grounds are general admission, no seating.
