It was the big dirty thirty this year. I have been super excited all year to turn thirty. I believe all the people who tell me women are great in their thirties, so much more interesting with better life stories. You couldn't pay me to be 20 again - though if I had that body again I would be running around in daisy dukes and pasties instead of the big baggy tshirts and shorts I used to wear!
Friday night my husband had to work so friends had me over for supper and we hit the local gay bar (they being a gay couple). That was a good time and my husband had to come pick me up about 130 nicely buzzed.
Saturday night we went with a couple of friends to a new authentic Mexican restaurant. Great beer and great food and great company.
Next weekend we go to Chicago to see a game at Wrigley field and catch The Cure.
