:-) I have one so far, guess I need to get crackin!
The seagull/lifeguard one is great, too! So, we've got a bakesale, pony & paddleroat rides & postcards...Gee, we should be able to pull this together by 2038....maybe!!?

JoshDwyer:Im probally way off... But my guess would be about 10 000 dollars.. I do gigs at my cottage at partys.. I 'll come out with a demo C.D to sell :P! After I get my keyboard I'll save to the penny lol! Then I'll invite everyone who can come!! Lol!
I was thinking two to three times that amount. Transportation, equipment, the crew, venue plus all the bands other costs like food and rooms. It is an interesting idea. I heard that its actually possible to book Paul McCartney...for 4 million dollars a night.

I'm guessing that the booking fee for a band like BR would depend on the size of the gig. The band played a benefit for a small northern college (Keyano) not long ago. They donated $25,000. I always figured that was equivalent to their fee. Naturally, however, their fee for the small gigs must be less. The Mission show has something like 600 seats at $50 a pop and some of the ticket price would be handling fees, not proceeds. Josh, some of the people here have held house parties showcasing smaller artists. They might be willing to talk about the costs involved.
borderline useless from hanging around

Well, if I ever did something like this, I would probally raise all my Money for it. Like I said: Demo C.D, busking with my friends, People at my cottage would most likely donate, And that would raise money for me pretty fast! It would be just a secluded cottage with maybe 100 people.. But and on top of that, I would invite anyone here who could make it!
Remember you told me how the good will fall? Talk is cheap but I remember it all. kissed my cheeck yeah I admit. Turned my head just a little bit. C.Mon, C'Mon, C'Mon, C'Mon, C'Mon down with us!
