Annual bashes perfect time to wine and dine

Rob Duteau of Arcturus Realty and Bernadette Alexander of Blake, Cassels and Graydon are the organizers of Stampede Roundup, a party that attracts about 10,000 people to Fort Calgary.


A Calgary oil executive opens up his house in the ritzy Mount Royal neighbourhood to clients, employees, family and friends. There are arm to arm people in the front and back yards as a band plays during the annual Stampede bash.

At the city's largest corporate party at Fort Calgary, 10,000 people whoop it up to celebrate the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth and this year the 11th Annual Stampede Roundup will have Canadian musical legend Blue Rodeo performing. Also on tap is a "surprise international rock legend" that took organizers more than two years to lasso.
