Seeing Frankie Valli on the list reminded me of a quote from Dave Barry's Book of Bad Songs (a hilarious read, might I add):

Bwaaaahahahaha. An old roommate of mine had a cover of that done by Divine, that big old transvestite who started in "Hairspray" the movie. There's nothing funnier then the thought of a fat guy in a bad wig and mumu(sp?) singing with a voice like Ernest Borgnine(sp?) bwaaaaaahahahaha.

OK so this is where I have to admit I actually like Lily Alan (well one song) and James Blunt. But the rest are dead on.
