I just went to br.com today, and I was immediately signed in as someone else.  I signed out right away out of respect for that person's privacy, but it's a little disconcerting to know that someone could be logged in as any one of us.

Anyone else have that happen to them?

Is it a quick fix?

Same thing happened to me last week! I told Lindsay about it and she looked into it and I was told to hit the "Ctrl" + "F5" and that should solve the problem. If it happens again just let her know! Hope that works!

I think I'll be sticking to e-mails from now on!

Hey Lori! It was a little strange to have the home page pop up and have someone else's name in the
"welcome back" line! Then when I clicked onto the "talk"  it took me right to it and at the top of the page, there was my name! So, I went back and it still said "welcome back" to the other person!  When I signed off it went away and I haven't had it happen again. I don't think that I could have access the other person's private stuff. And when I sent the message to Lindsay it came up as me. It does make you think though.........!

It just happened again, although it happened when I signed out.  Apparently I was still logged in as someone else.

The site has been doing weird things in general lately. A few times after I've posted a message, instead of being brought back to the thread, I'm redirected to a page that says "This message has been move here" with a link.

I hope admin is looking into this.
 

I never sign out unless starJACKstar wants to sign in, but I just came on tonight & discovered I was NOT signed in (& Jack had not been on). No problem signing back in as myself though.

I have had the same thing happen, I thought that it was just me. It is strange that we are having these things happen! Maybe it's haunted Moe!!!

When I tried signing in earlier, I wasn't able to and got that weird "This page has been moved here" message again.

I was online briefly yesterday and came over here to have a quick peek at the board, and I was shocked to see a welcome message directed at another user on the home page.  I didn't try to log on, but there was an option to sign out.

Everything appeared normal today, though.

The sign-on problem is an issue with caching and has been fixed as of today.

For the people that experienced this problem, you weren't actually signed into someone else's account. You would NOT be able to see the other person's PMs or create any posts that would appear under that person's name. You are signed in as yourself however, instead of displaying your member name the homepage shows the member name of the last person who signed in. Refreshing your page would have gotten rid of this glitch.

So don't worry, no one's privacy was violated and you don't have to worry about someone else reading your PMs.

OK, I was just here an hour or so ago, & as I mentioned before I never sign out, so I was already signed in as usual. I checked New Since Last Visit as I always do & there was 2 or 3 posts which I read. I just came back now, & discovered that I was no longer signed in...Huh? So, I signed in & checked NSLV & got 607 posts!!!!! What's going on?
