Well, it depends what team you're backing, I guess. But, what a race in the east. Man, with six teams juggling spots almost every night.
You're looking at a die-hard Canadiens fan here and the way thing have been stacking up lately, that Mtl-Tor end of season match-up should be something to remember not matter who wins. I mean, I don't recall a race this tight ever in the past. What? 5 or 6 games left each and the results almost always have ripple effects with the bottom four play-off spots on the list?
Don't know where you hail from BlueBlood, and not to dis the south at all, but my hope is that the cup finds it's way back north. We haven't seen it for over a dozen year's now and last year's final was a heart-breaker to say the least. On the reality side, I pray that whoever does win doesn't get it the way Carolina did last year.
In my opinion, they were basically handed the thing because Brindamour virtually knocked out three of the opposing goalies along the way with little or no punitive action on the leagues part as a result.
Got to admit though, an original six final would be sweet; especially if it was a Mtl-Tor, or Mtl-Boston series bacause those rivalries were full of passion in towns that really know and appreciate the game.
To be or not to be is NOT the question!
Rather, is it your will to be here, or to be elsewhere?
