I'm 99.9% positive that I just saw Greg on the National News! 

They were doing a story on Alice Munro and showed a clip of a recent appearance she made in Port Hope. They showed her signing books after her book reading and I could have sworn I saw Greg getting his book signed! Did anyone else see this??

I have the news on right now and saw a preview for the Alice Munro story so I will pay close attention and get back to you.

OK!! He looked like his hair was kinda slicked back and he was wearing a plaid-looking jacket. He had a big grin on his face!!

Oh yeah that was him unless he has a twin brother. It was kind of funny seeing him waiting for an autograph instead of giving one.

WAS THAT THE COOLEST THING OR WHAT?!

I'm down at my parents' and was laying on the couch just watching the news... My dad was relaxing in the lazy boy and my mom was in the computer room! Well as soon as I saw Greg, I jumped up and started clapping my hands and pointing at the TV, going "LOOK! LOOK! IT'S GREG!!!" and my dad's like "WHO?!?" LOL!! My mom came out and wanted to know what all the commotion was about!
 

LOL - that's awesome Lori.  You paint a very amusing picture.  How can your Dad not know who Greg is?

Thanks for posting.  I have a terrible habit of listening to the news more than watching.  I always seem to be doing something else at the same time so there is a good chance I would not have noticed Greg if you hadn't posted.  Too cool.

The National on CBC archives its broadcasts, so it's possible to watch the show today online. The Alice Munro segment is about 43 minutes in or so, and the one shot of Greg is right at the beginning. (Sorry, no link because I have very limited access time today.)

Well I watched it last night and you know, I did see her signing but I had just left the room to make a tea right during that time, do you believe it Talk about BAD TIMING but I watched it on the link, it's just a quick catch of Greg, but hey, a quick catch is a GOOD catch

Boo, my Mac doesn't get along with CBC's video player... I'm not sure if it's a Mac-in-general issue or just this particular computer I'm on. (My *actual* Mac had a possibly-hard-drive-related meltdown on Saturday, so I am borrowing Rabbit Prince's old PowerBook.) Perhaps Rabbit Prince can try to download it for me or something. Or could someone who actually *is* able to watch it take a screen capture? Oh well. Even if I can't see it, it still sounds very cool. Hooray for Greg on telly!

thanks for the link...just watched it....not only for Greg but Alice Munroe is one of my favourite writers.  Greg is on minute 46...nice smile!  Wonder if she knew who he was.

LOL!    Thank you ladies... we were watching the news last night and I was paying attention because I'm an Alice Munro fan and all of the sudden I turned to my husband and said, "Holy S!!@, that looks like Greg Keelor".  He agreed and then I didn't think another thing of it... what are the odds it really was him?

Oh it was Greg, make no mistake about that
