The "smile" and "big smile" on this new board SUCK!  There... I've said it! 

They look SILLY, GOOFY RIDICULOUS.  Sometimes improvements aren't necessarily that.  Ok, the board is more stable and reliable, but the smilies SUCK!

I was hearing on CBC 2 yesterday of the coming of the 3-D printer, which will allow "printing" of solid objects from plastic using a modified printer, right in your own home.  Yep, just download the file from the internet and hit print - half an hour later, a new comb or brush without leaving the house. Uh-huh.

 
And we can't modify the DB software to have our old smilies back?  Hmmm....

I'm not too crazy about the smiley options available here either. I usually go to other sites to get mine and that kinda sucks because we can't just copy and paste them.

Atticus, when you are composing your reply there is a yellow smiley face on the right directly above the box you're typing in. Click on it, a box will open with lots of different, but lame , emoticons, click on the emoticon you want & it will appear in your post wherever your curser is. (But trust me, these smilies are not as good as our old ones! )
