Calling all Keelorites - help me prove a point to my parents!

    Hi All,

I'm sure my subject line of this thread has got you intrigued - and well it should! Sooo, here goes:

As many of you know, my grandma recently passed away. As my dad was going through some of her old things, he found some old photo albums in there, and there's this one old pic of my dad - probably late 1960's/early 1970's with thick black framed glassess, greased ("Dime store greaser"?) hair and sideburns...and I SWEAR he looks just like Greg used to look like back in the early days of Blue Rodeo! Big Smile

Now, my mom - who is clearly a Cuddyan - doesn't like the idea of my dad resembling Greg at any point in history - my mom thinks Greg is "weird" Tongue Tied (I guess the weed, whiskey, and living on the farm might have something to do with this label that my mom has - unfairly, I might add - put on our Greg Tongue Tied) But I have decided to make it my mission to prove to my parents that my father once indeed bared a close resemblence to our Greg, to the point that after googling (unsuccessfully) for pictures of Greg that would match the discription, I now call upon my fellow Keelorites for help...so yeah, any old pics of Greg - particularly those of him wearing black framed glasses, greased hair and sideburns, would be greatly appreciated! Big Smile Help me out, folks!

Do you have In Stereovision? I seem to recall it contains a clip of Greg doing an interview like that. I believe he also looked like that in at least one of the performance clips.

    borderline useless from hanging around

I know the exact look you're talking about...the Michael Caine glasses...and it's kinda driving me crazy that I can't find a pic, interview or video of Greg back then.  I think there might be something on the Blue Movies VHS tape...argh, still can't watch mine.

Mission accomplished! Big SmileYes Thanks guys - Snowfalling, thanks for the heads up, I never would have thought about using "In Stereovision", but I found the perfect still-frame shot of Greg during "House of Dreams" and it was the exact shot I was looking for - and thus, this morning I successfully proved my point to my parents! Big Smile Hehehe

Thanks again guys! I knew you'd come through! Wink
