Blue Rodeo to Play Mt. Forest
Blue Rodeo will be stopping in Mt. Forest, ON on Thursday, January 25 where they'll be playing at the Old Roxy Theatre.

Read This If You Have a Store Account
The login process for the BlueRodeo.com Store and the Discussion Board has now been combined into one easy step. This means that you are now able to access the whole site with only one username and password.
If you already have a Discussion Board account set up, please use its login info to access the Store. All Discussion Board members will automatically have a basic Store account associated with their Discussion Board IDs however, they will need to add in any address or credit card info. If you do not have a Discussion Board account, you will need to create one in order to have a Store account. All Store accounts created before December 7 have been deleted however any orders sent in by those accounts have not been affected.

CBC's "Canada Reads" to Feature Jim Cuddy
CBC Radio's annual "Canada Reads" competition has announced its 2007 reading list and our own Jim Cuddy has been named one of the five all-star panellists. Jim, whose literary selection won "Canada Reads" several years ago, is championing Timothy Taylor's novel Stanley Park.
Jim faces some tough competition from his fellow panellists who include the Barenaked Ladies' Steven Page and who are rooting for such diverse selections as Gabrielle Roy's Governor General awarding-winning Children of My Heart and the Mumbai-based The Song of Kahunsha by Anosh Irani.
Jim and the other panellists will defend their choices starting on February 26 at 11:30am and 7:30pm (half an hour later in Newfoundland) on your local CBC One station. The competition wraps on Friday, March 2, 2007. For more details on "Canada Reads" check out its website.

Tickets Still Available For Greg's CD Release Party
Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster and at the door for Greg's November 3 CD release party at Toronto's Lee's Palace. The party will be to celebrate the release of Greg's new solo album Aphrodite Rose, now on sale over in the BlueRodeo.com Store. *Note: The Keelor Contest is now closed. Congrats to the winners.*
Greg will also be making at appearence on November 3 at Sam The Record Man (Yonge & Gould) where he will be performing an half-hour acoustic set starting at 6pm. Updates on Jim Cuddy's Guelph & London Shows
Wednesday's Jim Cuddy Band show at London's Cowboy's Ranch has been moved to Wednesday, December 6. All other details, including the venue, remain the same.
Thursday night's show in Guelph has been cancelled. This show will not be rescheduled. Ticket purchasers can either refund their tickets at the point of purchase or use them to attend Jim's December 3 show in Kitchener at Centre In The Square. All Guelph tickets will be honoured at face value at the Kitchener show. Tickets may be either exchanged on the night of the Kitchener show or may be exchanged in advance by stopping by the Centre In The Square Box Office.

Jim Cuddy To Play Second Toronto Date
After selling out his first Toronto date, Jim Cuddy has decided to add a second Toronto show to his upcoming fall solo tour. He will now also be playing the Danforth Music Hall on Saturday, November 25.

The 2007 BlueRodeo.com Calendar Needs Your Photos!
Yes, it's that time of year again, we need your amazing live action shots of the band in order to make the annual calendar. Please submit your photos to help@bluerodeo.com and use "2007 calendar" as the subject line. All submissions but be in .jpg (jpeg) format, need a pixel resolution width no more than 350 and must be no less than 300 DPI.The majority of photos taken on a good digital camera will meet these requirements. Please limit yourself to five photo submissions and don't forget to include when and where the photos were taken. The deadine for submissions is next Wednesday, September 13, at 6pm.
The BlueRodeo.com team will pick our favourites and then ensemble them into a calendar. All photos used will be fully credited and the photographer will be made a BlueRodeo.com Crew member. If you have any questions, please post them in this Discussion Board thread.

BBC 2 Re-airing Blue Rodeo Interview
If you missed Blue Rodeo's interview on BBC 2's Bob Harris Show when it first aired back in May, you have another chance to catch it. It will air on July 27 at 7pm UK time. But don't think that you have to be in Britain in order to hear it. BBC 2 broadcasts all of its programming live over the Internet meaning that Blue Rodeo fans from all across the world will be able to hear the band's interview.

Jim Cuddy to Perform at the Montreal Jazz Festival
On July 4, Jim Cuddy will take part in the Montreal Jazz Festival's tribute to Paul Simon. Jim will do a duet with Kevin Parent, perform a solo and take part in the big final.
Other performs include Elvis Costello, Jesse Cook and Colin James. And all, like Jim, will be performing Paul Simon songs.
This is a free show and gets under way at 9:30pm at the Scène General Motores.

Blue Rodeo to Play Nanaimo
On July 16, come down to Nanaimo's Beban Park for a night of great music with Blue Rodeo. The band will be in town to play a fundraiser for the Nanaimo Area Land Trust.

Jim Appears as a Surprise Guest on CBC Radio
On Saturday, June 3, Jim appeared on CBC Radio One's "Go" program as the special surprise musical guest.
He played "Try" with a string quartet led by Kevin Fox, and made up of these young ladies: Danni, Tiffany and Kayla.

Blue Rodeo on BBC Radio Scotland
Last Friday, Blue Rodeo appeared on the BBC Radio Scotland program "Brand New Country." Show host Bryan Burnett interviewed the band and played some of his favourite Blue Rodeo songs. For the next few days, you can listen to the program on the BBC's "Listen Again" player. Simply visit the BBC Radio Scotland homepage and then click on the "Listen Again" link located in the upper-right corner.

Jim Cuddy to Appear on the Broadcast of Canada's Walk on Fame
The presenters for this year's Canada's Walk of Fame tribute gala have been announced and Blue Rodeo's very own Jim Cuddy will be one of them! Jim will present singer-songwriter Jann Arden with her Walk of Fame award. The broadcast of this year's walk will air on Sunday, June 4 at 7pm EDT on CTV. Blue Rodeo to Play Port Colborne's Sunsplash Beach Festival
Another Blue Rodeo summer concert has been announced! The band will be playing Port Colborne's Sunsplash Beach Festival on June 25. David Usher will open for the band and the venue will be Port Colborne's own Nickle Beach. Also recently announced is a Bob Egan solo show. Bob will be playing London, ON on June 9. Vancouver Presale this Thursday!
Blue Rodeo will be playing Vancouver on Aug. 25 and Aug.26. Both shows will be at the Malkin Bowl and promise to be a great summer concert experience. BlueRodeo.com will be holding a special one-day only presale for both shows on Thursday, June 1. We will be selling both assigned seats and GA lawn seats. This presale will start at 9am PST and will run until 3pm PST or until tickets sell out, which ever happens first.

Montreal Show On Sale On Monday
Blue Rodeo will be heading to Montreal this August! They'll be playing the Quai Jacques-Cartier on Friday, Aug. 18. This is a GA, all-ages show and the presale will start on Monday, May 29 at 11am EDT at the BlueRodeo.com Store .

Blue Rodeo Interview on XM Radio
XM Radio subscribers have the chance to listen tonight to a Blue Rodeo interview! The band is this week's guests on Mixed Bag Radio, a 60-minute interview and music show that airs on The Loft, XM channel #50.

Tickets for Sudbury On Sale Thursday
On Thursday May 25 at noon EDT, BlueRodeo.com will start selling one-day passes to Sudbury ON's Northern Lights Festival Boréal. Blue Rodeo is the festival's headlining act and will perform on Sunday, July 9 at Bell Park. This show is general admission, all-ages and is great way to spend a summer day.

Molson Amphitheatre Show Announced
On August 23, Blue Rodeo will take to the stage at one of Toronto's favourite summertime venues - the Molson Amphitheatre. Last year's August Amphitheatre show was a highlight for many Blue Rodeo fans and we know that this year's show will be just as much fun. As always, BlueRodeo.com will be offering a Best Seats presale for this concert. Tickets will go on sale at noon EST on May 15.

Blue Rodeo to Appear on BBC 2
As many of you know, Blue Rodeo is currently touring the UK. On Wednesday, May 10, Jim and the two Bobs stopped by the BBC 2 studios and recorded a broadcast of the Bob Harris Show. It will air on May 29 but don't think that you have to be in Britain in order to hear it. BBC 2 broadcasts all of its programming live over the Internet meaning that Blue Rodeo fans from all across the world will be able to hear the band's interview.

Sunderland is Sold Out

Get ready Ottawa, Blue Rodeo is coming to town! The band will be playing the Cisco Systems Bluesfest as part of a killer line-up that includes Great Big Sea and Sam Roberts. They will be performing on Tuesday, July 11 at 9pm.

Juno Cup: Canadian Musicians Vs. NHL All-Stars
Jim Cuddy is once again playing in and organizing this year's Juno Cup! The team of Canadian musicians including Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea) and Jarrett Murphy (Matt Mays & El Torpedo) will take on the NHL All-Stars on March 31st at the Halifax Forum.
