The Cash Brothers

Biography

The Cash Brothers

Brothers Andrew and Peter Cash were more than a decade into their respective musical careers before they decided it was time to work together. Andrew had established himself as a solo artist, while Peter was a member of Skydiggers when they made the decision to team up in 1996. It was three years before the first product of their collaboration, the album Raceway, was released. In the years since, the Cash Brothers have been quite active, releasing a string of albums (2000's Phonebooth Tornado, 2001's How Was Tomorrow and 2003's A Brand New Night) in close succession.

The duo's latest record, the split acoustic album Skydiggers/Cash Brothers (2006), evolved from a series of collaborative shows put on by the two bands. With no plans to tour in the near future, Andrew Cash is currently working on his first solo album since 1993, tentatviely titled Murder =, which he intends to relased in late 2007.
